Springmarc

I’ve had this apartment for almost 8 months now. I’m a first time renter and I’m also new to San Marcos, so this was a new experience for me. Overall a great experience. Very peaceful and quiet place; I hardly ever hear any noise as the walls are thick and neighbors are respectful of others. The scenery is nice as my patio has a nice view of the woods. The apartment itself is very spacious and has a modern look inside. No mold nor no bug issue whatsoever. The complex has a clean and solid infrastructure. Maintenance here is very fast. Requests are always taken care in a timely manner. My favorite part is the shuttle; there is a bus stop right in front of the apartment complex making it very convenient. I also feel very safe in this apartment; no strange activity or cars. There’s a mix of families and college students; which I love because it’s very peaceful in comparison to student housing in the square. Maritza helped us with our leasing application; she was very helpful through the whole process. The leasing office here is very helpful and informative. If there is any updates or changes, residents are informed in a timely manner through email. Overall a wonderful experience; I recommend Springmarc for anyone who’s looking for something safe, private, and quiet in San Marcos.

UPDATE: I wish Springmarc could have similar attitude when communicating in private versus on public platforms!!! I only listed 6 questions out of many in my emails, but they only picked the most important one to them to answer, ignoring the rest. BE WARE: they would manipulate bills so that residents have to pay whatever amount they asked for after move out. (Springmarc mailed me a final bill without adding my advance payment. I informed them---then they updated my bill by adding my early payment. In the updated final e-bill, they charged me exactly the SAME amount!!!! Wish I could give a 0. Texas State Students: Run away from this horrible place!!! Used to lived in 10-303: So many bad things happened. Over 8 months after moving in, they replaced broken window screens--which they promised to replace soon after I moved in in June, 2024. During my stay, I can list numerous terrible things. I had to move out before my lease ended (but I paid my rent on time), due to the unsafe environment that they created. After moving out, they sent me a damage charge and more charges without any explanations--and refusing to communicate! I have so much to say about this place and have started to reach out to relevant parties.
