Wonderful safe neighborhood with beautiful hill country views and majestic sunsets. Super convenient location - 10ish mins to the San Marcos river and downtown San Marcos, 10-15 mins to Kyle HEB and shopping, 35 mins to South Congress Austin, and 45 mins to San Antonio. School zone is hays which is a plus! We have lived here 5 years.

Great community. Big oak tree at the entrance area, Pokemon stops, community pool, food truck fun is often, 5mile dam park is great for walking and lit up. Neighbors are friendly and pets are welcomed. Lots of trails, pet waste area, elementary school in subdivision and a church. The fishing pond isn't really stocked and mostly a pretty aesthetic water with beautiful sunsets.

Kids enjoy the kids pool, and the playscape, people need to clean up after themselves though. There are garbage receptacles, use them, or take your trash home. Lifeguards were picking up trash around the pool.

We are home looking and liked this neighborhood! This is definitely a top choice for us. Figures crossed that our current house sells quickly and we find a new home here.

Lived there for a while. The people are nice. The houses were energy efficient. I’d give it 4+ stars if it were not for their terrible property management company (JB Goodwin).
