Campus Trailhead Student Apartments

THIS APARTMENT BUILDING IS INFESTED. I have reached out to Texas State University to insure no student has to experience this. Additionally, the apartments refused to communicate information through email which leads me to believe it is operated suspiciously. Please be aware of leasing from this building as I had to legally break my contract because of the severity of the infestation. The staff are very unprofessional and I had reason to believe they discriminated against my twin sister and I. The manager will not respond to you at any point. Please ignore the five star reviews--they were motivated by incentives from the apartments. I'm warning you to please avoid these apartments at all cost.

The staff is very poorly trained and misinformed. Management is always late to reply or straight up lies to you/ignores you. I was led on by them and lied to for months. Very dissapointing. Update: Expect to have one or two days a month where the internet goes out for no apparent reason and you are left without a connection for 24 hours. Most recently, the internet was down for 75 consecutive days. Every "back up" they tried either failed or did not work properly by 2025 standards. If you are someone who requires a fast and more importantly stable internet connection then do not live here. Unacceptable living conditions!

DO NOT MOVE IN! I moved in February and since then have had non stop issues with management. At first they didn’t want to uphold my lease with 2 months free, then tried retracing their statement, and finally after complaining applied credits to my account. There has been NO WIFI for more than a week now with no comment from management even after emailing. My leasing manager walked into my apartment unannounced for NO REASON 2 weeks ago and once he saw I was home.. quickly walked out. The apartments are roach infested and management and maintenance can’t get rid of them. Avoid the trouble and look elsewhere. Pictures of roaches everywhere!!!! EDIT: Management has refused to get back to me after wanting to terminate lease. Please choose elsewhere to live, this is possibly the worst place. Also WiFi is still not fixed after weeks.

Would not recommend living here. I have had no wifi for over a week and they have stopped responding to emails. I previously had no hot water for over a month and currently still have raccoons in the ceiling that "they can't do anything about". I also do not have any smart home features that were shown in the model when I toured and I still have holes in my walls from the renovations. Tried to get out of my lease due to the raccoons, they refuse. Do not sign a lease here and I would like out of my lease.

If I could leave zero stars I would. This place is absolutely terrible nothing about here is good at all. For charging “luxury” prices I would at least expect the WiFi to be fixed in a timely manner but NOPE NOTHING. Also the people in the leasing office are very unhelpful and won’t even respond to my emails. The apartment looks nothing like the model complete scam stay very far away.
