Deleted my original review to repost since it wouldn’t let me update with pics. This is what came out of a single outlet when sprayed with roach spray. Management here has just been the worst, the only person who’s put any effort into helping me in the office is Rose and honestly she could be working for a place so much better than this. It’s a shame, these apartments are pretty, and cheap, but definitely be prepared to share your space with a few hundred roommates. Believe the lower reviews, I gave this place 2 years and they let me down :( Update: as I prepare to move out, I added a few more pics of how badly nested they were underneath my paintings and shelves on the walls. I had to throw out some books and art I enjoyed :/

I lived here for 2 years and on May 13, 2023 a panel from one of the garages fell on my car. I contacted the office (in person) and the leasing agent Monique said she preferred to not tell the manager because she is rude and unprofessional (Nancy), instead she provided me the number to the corporate office. Crazy right…for a staff to say that about a manager…says a lot about the property and management. Upon calling I was directed to send an email which I did. Their insurance company AmTrust North America was a nightmare. The Claims Adjuster Wendy was very disrespectful and was screaming at me over the phone. She said that Alberto Milmo (owner) does not have disaster/weather insurance and therefore the claim to repair my car couldn’t be processed. Wendy (insurance) didn’t even spell my email address correctly nor the address for Valencia Lofts. Alberto never spoke with me and ignored all my emails and calls. The insurance just said they reviewed online weather reports and claimed it was due to a storm yet they are based in Ohio!!! Nobody even looked at my car in person nor apologized. The property should have weather / disaster insurance and a local insurance to process claims and review in person. This is horrible business and so unprofessional. My car has dents and is missing paint. ***A payment to repair my car AND an apology from Alberto Milmo would be greatly appreciated. *** Simple upkeep and inspections would have prevented this. I had to call the insurance and office to tell them to fix the garage and remove the panel pieces countless times yet they can’t even fix my car, ridiculous! Horrible management , customer service & property. Worst experience ever! Apart from that, the school next door is extremely loud. The property is always full of dog poop and loose dogs (not leashed). Parking is scarce, it seems like anyone can park inside. The gate is almost always broken even after attempts to repair with a stop sign. Some buildings have halls and patios that face inwards, everything echoes and you can hear entire conversations, music, dogs and so much more —the architecture/ structure is not great. Update 4.17 I received a notification from the credit bureau for a $100 charge from Valencia Lofts. I haven’t lived there since July 2023. I have NEVER received any communication from Valencia Lofts regarding the charges or balance. They had my forwarding address, phone number and email. I went in person to talk to the manager who was clueless as she is new but was able to provide a statement balance —MY FIRST TIME EVER RECEIVING THIS (4.17.2024)yet the statement is dated 8.07.2023!!!!) I emailed the corporate office including the owner ALBERTO MILMO with photos of the unit. I left the apartment spotless and have pictures. I didn’t even get the deposit back, my balance from water and sewer was $20.65. Milmo Group is uprofessional AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE NOR AT ANY OF HIS PROPERTIES (Barcelona Lofts, Milmo Lofts and Dielmann Lofts). I made all my payments on time during my two year lease and that was never enough. If I could give this apartment negative reviews beyond 1 star I would.

Update 9/12/19 Emailed Sunridge managements email for customer relations (as they have shared on other reviews) on 8/2/19 (no response) and 2nd attempt email on 9/10/19. No response to date. There has been no update to parking including any improvement projects or policies, as well as communication for any future changes. Since the parking enforcement, I have not had any guests over as they would have no where to park. The exception is the parking in front of the office during non-business hours. This is a total 5 non-handicapped spaces. However this parking is usually filled up pretty early, so what is the use of inviting guests if there is no potential spot to park in. See posted photo of a typical night at 9 pm of the "guest" parking area. Also a concern with others getting towed, wanted to let anyone that experienced that issue relatively soon after the policy was enforced, property management and/or owner may have violated property code 92.0131 subsection e) part 2; this requires notice of at least 14 days when a parking policy is changed. However, I noticed every change the complex would put out were not all consistent with the parking changes but kept the same 8/1/19 enforcement date(the actual violation if they did towed soon after). The complex would be liable for any towing fees plus civil penalty. This is just an FYI for any affected. Aside from guests not being able to drive over and park here, some of the staff are nice and do like the concept/layout of the rooms. Just a shame can't have friends to hang out at your place. Update as of 7/31: the Valencia Lofts has updated their parking policy (different from the update from a few weeks ago). No guests are able to park within the complex but can in front of the leasing office, BUT only when the office is closed. Given this restrictions, the Valencia Lofts pretty much restrict guests from visiting during the hours of 9am to 6,7pm most days. The spaces in the front of the leasing office are also very limited, to about 4 to 5 spots. Given this, you would have to make sure that if a guest does drive and plans to park here, to make sure there is an available space. The Valencia Lofts would encourage to buy a parking garage to garauntee yourself a space to park or for a guest to park, however they do advise that only compact cars and vehicles smaller could fit. When asked about future parking plans, they said they are looking at seeing their options however no ETA was provided. Given this parking restrictions and guest restrictions, I would strongly advise from leasing or even renewing here until the parking is situated, especially that of guests. This review is also consistent with other reviews that have been posted the past 2 weeks. I do advise relying on more recent reviews for tenant experiences. I think there's something inherently wrong when the apartment complex suggests to buy a parking garage to guarantee a parking space. Parking is very tight, actually causes me anxiety to go out during the weekends. I would advise not renting here unless youre getting the townhome, don't have a car, or are always home. Everything else is fine.

I have lived here since November 2018 and I’m currently a resident as well. When I first moved here it was good vibe here and when Jeff left it has gone down hill since he left. It’s turned into a ghetto property just like their sister property next-door called Barcelona lofts. i’ve had continual bug problems with ants and these little flying gnats. They sprayed and they still are here. People don’t pick up their trash in the parking lot or their dog poop. The dog park is full of dog poop and it smells when it rains. The trash piles on top to where you cannot put trash in the trash can and have to put trash on the side of it which makes it smell. They’ve let drug dealers in and I’ve witnessed several drug deals go past their security patrols. Both my neighbor and I have had to call the cops on more than one occasion when some neighbors began fighting and it became a domestic violence situation where the police had to be called. However I guess it says something about the property when the police don’t even come. Both my neighbor and I have gotten security alarm systems for our units because we don’t trust the atmosphere here. I mean if the cops won’t even come what is it say? Most recently I spoke to Sonia as she was getting ready to leave for the day and I vocalized a complaint about one of the residents that just moved in creating a lot of noise in the middle of the night when I was sleeping and it woke me up, and the lady’s response was they live here too. But what about me I’m a resident too don’t I count? All I can say is I wish I wouldn’t have signed here because it was not my first choice back in November but I was in a dire situation at the time and needed housing ASAP. I won’t be renewing my lease here and I am trying to buy a house so I can get out of here. The photos are of the latest incident tonight where there is no outdoor power to my building yet the other buildings have power. I won’t go walk my dog out in this darkness at all because I feel unsafe.
