University Cove Apartments

Having spent a time here now, I've gotten to know the place and staff. Maintenance is great. Office crew is, swell. Location is ideal. Cons: The amenities are in disrepair, specifically laundry. New residents are always learning that the dryer that worked, didn't work today. If that wasn't a scam enough, CSCpay mobile's turn around time is weeks to MONTHS. No lighting in one laundry room. Non residential pedestrians cross through or break fence to make paths. Huge dog poop everywhere. Ensure your parking tags are visible. Random drop ins.

Managers are helpful and nice, maintenance crew has alot on their plate but still prompt ( although in 2 yrs I've only needed them once ) Every1 is great, but a special shout out to Amanda !!!!!!

Took me a while to post this so bear with me it’s long. I lived here a few months ago for 2 years and it was the worst 2 years of my life in a complex. For starters, maintenance guy was creepy and had invited me for dinner while being married and I was a girl living on my own. I had to once file a police report because a guy stalked me and my guest and hid behind the washer machines, which also don’t get me started but these washer machines or dryers NEVER worked, they were constantly broken or wouldn’t dry and when you’d finally find one that did work, people would come and take your clothes out and leave it on top sopping wet and you’d have to stay with your clothes if you wanted to make sure it was done. Multiple times I had to drive elsewhere to wash my laundry. Still, leasing did nothing with these concerns. A/C broke every month. At one point I was left for two weeks without working A/C and had to complain to get a window unit. Roaches were also terrible. There were always roaches no matter how clean I kept things, everything ended up molded/roaches or caked in a grease especially on top of the fridge. Not to mention the place is RUNNED DOWN, the paint was stuck to the cabinets and would tear when you’d open them, the fridge was discolored yellow, oh and best part the rust was so bad in the disposal, it flooded my kitchen and the whole thing had to be replaced while still there was leaks with it if water got into it and the drawers in the restroom were broken with wood falling apart and under the sink the hole was so massive it looks like they just punched through it to get to the plumbing which by the way the hot water didn’t turn on in the sink. Neighbors were always disgusting too, even at one point second set of neighbors constantly had physical fights yelling at 2am and let a guest of there’s or someone sleep on the shared balcony area for a whole month. First set, I have videos on my security camera of their dog defecating in front of my door and then scooping the fecal matter and flung it to the wall, nothing was done about this either. Second set again, these neighbors always kept multiple various men around on the balcony and brought furniture from the dump that was covered in roaches. The area is not safe at all, random homeless come in and out and my vehicle was broken into twice and towed once (I wasn’t parked in handicap or reserved parking). As well as I had to tow people every day out of my reserved spot because people here in this complex do not care about keeping clean or respecting others, extremely trashy. When I moved out finally, I had one more day and the day before my official last day, maintenance went in and stole multiple of my items including my flat screen tv. When this was mentioned to leasing management, they said “oh well they shouldn’t have done that, you sure it was us and not someone you know or broke in?” And none of that was accurate, I locked the door and could only be accessed with a spare key which only they would have. My items were never returned to me, they never knew what happened to it and this complex broke contract. For a long time I debated to pursue legal action and sue them for the conditions I was forced to live in AND the theft of my items. I didn’t, because I simply wanted to be rid and out of this place and never return. The managers will constantly ask you for a review for simply existing or doing their job such as answering calls or going in to inquire about your lease plus they changed management all the time. Even one of their managers posted a review (which I actually met this lady when I first moved in) and she stated for no one to live here. All in all, I would not recommend this place to ANYONE and wish I never lived here to begin with.
