The Markson

Don’t live here unless you want to pay rent for living with roaches and spiders, we told them we had mold on the walls and all they did was paint over it, over all the experience of living here is a joke.

Management is absolutely amazing, Ms. Benavides went above & beyond for my son & i when we moved in. It doesn’t matter how amazing the actual unit is, if management isn’t any good neither is the place. The actual apartment has a cool layout & modern but above all it’s clean & well maintained. (Shout out to the maintenance man)!!!

I wish I could’ve said something about the Markson, but they have a completely convoluted, complicated, very last minute application process. Application approval is never guaranteed, but it’s a little ridiculous to have someone that wants to move in not fill out the application until two weeks prior to the expected move in date. We were ready to move in and apply a couple months in advance, but were told to wait until the very last minute and ended up becoming homeless because of the troubling application process. They also kept incorrectly running the numbers on our yearly income, saying my roommate and I are to make $58k between the two of us next year when we probably won’t even make $40k. Not sure where they got their numbers from and I had to fight the front desk multiple times just to not get a call back. The application also isn’t even done online, which would probably fix a lot of the inconsistencies and troubles they have with the whole system.
