Richland Apartments

I give it two stars cause it was my home once and me and my family enjoyed living there but I only remember getting in the pool once (in 18 months I lived there) due to it was always closed or dirty. Also remember seeing lots of bugs. The gate barely worked in all the time I lived there but I felt safe. The maintenance of the outdoors areas was good and receiving maintenance service was quick and good.

Richlands apartments have always been so kind to me. Whatever issue I have ever had the team made it better. This an awesome property who genuinely cares. I work in the same field and let me tell you they take care of residents. I truly love being here and I love my apartment. I don’t have any issues. No bugs or anything. Washer and dryer in an apartment even better. Richlands is a great place to be at! Love Richlands and Nicole and Rodger. Thank you for all you do! 😍

Please take time to read the reviews before considering this property—doing so could save you your hard-earned money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend renting here. There are newer communities in the area with far better amenities, more modern units, and more generous leasing incentives. From the beginning, my experience was uncomfortable. When I first inquired, I specifically requested to view the actual unit I would be leasing but was repeatedly shown only the model unit—which was not at all representative of the condition of the actual apartment. I strongly advise that anyone looking to rent insist on seeing the specific unit being offered, not just the staged model. On move-in day, it became immediately clear that the unit was worn down and not thoroughly cleaned. Despite being told otherwise, I encountered visible animal fur throughout the apartment, which triggered my allergies. I had to request multiple carpet cleanings, and even then, the carpet cleaning service used by the complex left an unpleasant odor each time. Ultimately, I had to address the issue myself due to a general lack of responsiveness and empathy from the office staff. Another serious issue was the presence of pests, particularly roaches—both adult and juvenile—which is typically a sign of infestation. When I raised this concern, I was initially dismissed and told there was no infestation. While pest control services were eventually offered, the contractors lacked professionalism, and I again had to resort to handling much of the problem myself. Dealing with this issue for the entire duration of my lease was incredibly stressful. Finally, upon move-out, I submitted my final payment in the form of a cashier’s check, in person, to leasing agent Roger. I was later informed that the payment was “never received,” raising serious concerns about accountability and transparency. Overall, this was the most difficult rental experience I’ve ever had. I strongly urge others to explore alternative properties before committing here.
