Onyx at Oslo

Maybe I've just been lucky but genuinely I have never seen a complex with so many tenants that treat the place like a dump. The dumpsters are open regularly and there is a valet trash service, and still there is garbage on the floor in the halls and ESPECIALLY the stairwells here. One stairwell literally had a bag of dog poop stuffed in the handrails. The hallways smell of smoke, weed, and near the elevators it absolutely reeks of dog piss. This basically extends everywhere because the parking lot and the areas around the property are garbage disasters too. Not like they can do anything about it but even the businesses to the east and the green area to the west have garbage and graffiti literally all over the place.

The staff here is amazing! Shelly Johnson is so helpful and was able to get everything sorted out fast and easy! I’m so appreciative of her help. Any worries or concerns are quickly sorted out and Jessica has been great. Maintenance requests are handled in a timely matter and Rashard is amazing! He’s been amazing and so kind the years I’ve been here. The community is cozy and I love how safe I feel, I love the appliances, I love the views, it’s close to shopping areas and public transport is super close too!

I am a little over halfway through my twelve month lease here at this property, and I have no complaints at all. Upon move-in earlier this year, the previous office staff was extremely helpful in securing my apartment for me in a timely manner. When I moved in, the floors were waxed, the showers were clean, and the AC was running nice and cool. Pests or bugs have never been an issue during my stay here. Whenever the company transitioned to new owners, it was really smooth. We have a lot of perks here where we get valet trash services, all utilities, and amenity fees included in our rent. We only pay one flat rate, which is nice, because as a college student it doesn't keep me wondering how much to save whenever the first of the month hits. Jessica in the front office is kind, attentive, and understanding when it comes to anything. Rashard on the maintenance team is always in high spirits as well. Since it is such a small complex, a lot of us have grown close. I'm excited to be a part of this community!
