Hilltop at Shavano

My family and I have been here for a month now. We are extremely happy we chose this community! Anastasia, Denise, and the entire staff have been fantastic from day one. The maintenance team handles Service requests promptly. I highly recommend Hilltop at Shavano.

Thank you to Mr. Orlando for the great hospitality he brings to the property! He is always busy with making sure the outside and inside of clubhouse swimming pool and the rest of the property is in the best condition! Also, he is always smiling and very courteous and asks how am I doing and shares nice things about how the day has been. He is definitely a gold gem that keeps this property shining and rich! Mr. Orlando deserves a bonus 👏 🙌 👌!! Thanks to the rest of the property management team as well to keep the property in best condition.

I haven't been here that long but it's hasn't been great, needed a new airfilter took almost 2 months. The hot tub don't work, the washers and dryers are nasty. Not to mention the bugs in the kitchen I have to spray every week to keep them gone. Also the 1604 road noise at night is awful. Just be mindful definitely not really worth the bucks. Also the break ins around here is insane

The apartment is lovely and so is the area. The problem is with the staff. Paid my application and processing fee and then had to call several times and finally showed up to the leasing office to get my lease signed. On move-in day nothing was ready- manager didn't even know I was moving in. No one ever answers the phone or returns calls- I usually have to drive over on my lunch break to speak to staff. Maintenance takes 5-7 days to address any issues. I have dogs, so that means they have to stay locked up for 5-7 days until maintenance enters. Trash compacter and dumpster stay locked so residents are told to leave trash outside the dumpster for porters to pick up. Trash is blown everywhere at all times (when viewing an apartment- ask to see the dumpster area). There are several added fees that are not on my signed lease that total over $60 monthly and I am told this is routine (over $10 for trash pick up on top of the $28 valet trash fee, among others). My car was broken into twice as the bars on back gate are wide enough for people to step through.
