Finding the right apartment can feel overwhelming, but my experience with Citadel Urban in San Antonio has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I first reached out, Lexi made the entire process feel effortless and genuinely welcoming. She has such a rare balance of professionalism and warmth—never pushy, always patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Every question I had was met with thoughtful answers, and she took the time to make sure I felt confident and excited about my decision rather than rushed into it. What stood out most about Lexi was how much she truly cares. She didn’t just help me sign a lease—she made sure I felt at home before I even moved in. That kind of intentionality is hard to find and speaks volumes about both her character and the community at Citadel Urban. The property itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, but it’s the people—especially Lexi—who make the experience memorable. If you’re considering moving here, I can confidently say you’ll be in great hands. I’m so grateful for how smooth and positive this experience has been, and I couldn’t recommend Citadel Urban enough.

Please think twice before moving here. I have lived here for a significant amount of time, and the experience has been consistently disappointing for several reasons: 1. Safety & Security: I have personally witnessed car break-ins on five separate occasions. Including my own car . When brought to the attention of the leasing office, their response is dismissive. They claim they cannot install cameras in the back due to neighbor privacy, yet they refuse to explore angles that would avoid this. Their "we can't control crime" stance feels like an excuse for total inaction. 2. Maintenance Issues: One of the main security gates has been broken for the entire duration of my lease. 3. Construction Quality: The floors and ceilings are incredibly thin. I can hear every move my upstairs neighbors make. While I don't necessarily blame them, it is a clear sign of poor building construction and lack of soundproofing. 4. Parking: There are no assigned spots, and the lot is constantly packed. Finding a place to park near your own unit is a daily struggle. 5. Value: Considering the safety concerns and the lack of basic amenities like working gates or adequate parking, this place is overpriced. There are much better, cheaper options in the area. Bottom line: Save your money and your peace of mind. Look elsewhere.
