Living here offers a vibrant social scene and an unbeatable location right in the heart of the Pearl District, with excellent walkability to a variety of restaurants, shops, and the Riverwalk, enhanced by a friendly and responsive staff and frequent community events. However, some residents have experienced issues with outdated unit features, noise from traffic and construction, occasional maintenance delays with elevators and water, and concerns regarding security in the parking garage.

So now..Cured closed, Full Goods Diner Closed, Botika Closed, 10,000 villages closed and Carrique (owned by oxbow) People bailing. Itâs OK for a day but not to live. Glad to see this review has over 4000 views. Karma at its finestđ You can move two blocks East and save about $6-700.00 on the same square footage. Or approximately a half mile south and save seven to $800 per month for the same square footage. Which is only a 10 minute walk from the Pearl. More of a neighborhood vibe with affordable restaurants that donât price gouged you because youâre living in a tourist spot. Your cocktails will be five dollars less at least for a premium cocktail. Can beers for five dollars as opposed to eight dollars. Believe me we were hyped and totally into moving into the Pearl. The allure was a lot more than the reality. Signed a 12 month lease but weâre told we signed a 10 month lease, which makes no sense. I would never sign a 10 month lease. So today we ran into tenants from the Can Plant. They told us the same thing happened to them. Signed a 12 month lease, but they were told that they didnât. Said the assistant manager is shady. đ€ In response to Embreyâs reply.. If you value transparency then why werenât you transparent about all the construction, the renovations and the ridiculous rent increases in which displaced many people? No mention about renovations when we moved in. The whole time we were there, was nothing but noise above us below us and on both sides of us. Not to mention the-mess left behind by the contractors. Also, the clubhouse was closed for 4 months while we were there. The intercom system to let people in didnât work for six months. We all ready decided we were not going to renew our lease but when they offered for us to stay for an additional 700.00. We actually laughed seeing that our decision was made.We werenât staying even if the rent was lowered. No integrity. I will also note in which we missed while touring the property, that there are no restrooms at the pool. Which is terrible if you have friends over to bbq etc. And guess where the kids are goingđ Itâs a long walk back to the clubhouse. 100 yards at least. There is no loyalty. Especially for people those that have actually stayed there for years. So my suggestion is that anything that Embrey management is involved with Stay away! The aforementioned is the main reason In which we decided to leave. That being said the Pearl is a nice place to visit but living there wasnât all that. We werenât into the thousands of people going through there on the weekend, the overrated/priced restaurants and truth be told living in a bubble. We prefer more of a neighborhood vibe not a touristy one. Iâm sorry that I had to write this but the greed and blatant disrespect in which they have shown to dozens that have had to relocate is unacceptable and shouldnât be ignored. Now the Can Plant has the highest vacancies in neighborhood and deservedly so. It couldnât happen to a better company. Embreyđ Oh.. as for the renovations? My neighbor showed me her new unit. Still had the old outdated stove and the old bathtub. She said itâs her last renewal. The Can Plant is going on 15 years old. Perhaps the oldest in the area. So there are a lot of issues. As for the remodel? Need to replace the outdated tubs and ovens too. Stop cutting corners. And that waste of space of desk and shelves. And btw.. 4 âïž? They only have that because of their community rewards program in which you take surveys in which they ask you to rate them. Then receive gift cards. They cancelled my 20.00 card immediately when I moved outđ Nickel and dime mentality. Our new location has an induction oven. State-of-the-art. In which you can air fry also. And a tub that you can actually stretch your feet legs out fully. This location also has a boiler system. So you donât have a water heater in your apartment. You can take back to back showers with your significant other. Instead of waiting for that 50 gallon hot water heater to warm up again. Itâs just not worth the California prices..
