Overall good quality for the location and options available nearby. Maintenance, office, trash valet and overall employeed workers here are amazing. I wish there was more routine cleaning of the common areas, but I don't spend enough time in these areas to observe how frequently they are sanitized currently.

Lived here when I first moved to Dallas a few years ago. The location was perfect for me, but the apartments are definitely over priced. While i had no issues with my particular unit, the building was NASTY! There was no proper upkeep, as the hallways floors were always nasty unswept. As you walked past the first floor units, bed bugs were everywhere. Tenants constantly allowed their dogs to piss on the elevator and the elevators were only cleaned with Fabuloso...which does NOT disinfect. The party room was a nice space, but that was never cleaned as well. I contacted management a couple of times regarding some issues, but they were never addressed. The parking lot gate was always broke and car were stolen a few times. This place has potential, but they don't keep it up well and it's not worth the price. I ended up not renewing my lease when they decided to raise rent by $350 to "keep up with the competition." There was no legit justification for the increase. Save your money

I’ve had a good overall experience living here and think it deserves five stars for several key reasons. Management is excellent — they’re friendly, responsive, and genuinely open to feedback. Service requests are handled quickly, which I really appreciate. The area feels quite safe, and the location is super convenient with the DART station and two major highways nearby. Amenities like the pool, gym, and business center are solid, and the units themselves are comfortable, well-maintained, and a good value for the price compared to other options in the area. That said, there are a few things worth noting. The B buildings don’t have garage access and sit close enough to the Renner/Plano intersection that you can hear some road noise. The hedges around the complex, while nice for privacy, make it a bit tricky to see pedestrians when driving in or out. Also, package deliveries can be hit or miss — you need to stay on top of them since missing or stolen packages do happen. Overall, though, it’s a great place to live with a responsive management team, convenient location, and good overall value for the area. I’d recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a clean, safe, and well-managed community.

Our lease was up and the renewal offer was 10% higher than our current rent so we put in our notice to vacate. While apartment hunting, we discovered our unit is now back on the market for LESS than our ORIGINAL rent! We are now moving to another apartment complex in the Cityline area with similar rent but it actually provides better quality facilities and modern appliances compared to what The Standard offers. Not to mention, here pest control does absolutely nothing, our unit and surrounding areas are constantly crawling with bugs. Along with the lack of parcel lockers, so people’s packages keep getting stolen (including mine) and they don’t even bother to set up cameras in the hallways. This complex in general is old and in need of maintenance/upgrades. Gave this place 3 stars since management at least listens and our time here was fine for the most part. No issues with neighbors or sketchy business. Hopefully The Standard tries to improve, because it will have a hard time competing with surrounding apartments that have much nicer facilities and competitive prices.

Absolutely LOVED living here the last three years. The location is right next to the nature preserve, whole foods, restaurants, CVS and so much more! If it wasn't for the fact we are buying a home I would gladly stay here longer. Lisa and Diane are wonderful in the front office and have been a pleasure working with while I have stayed here. Definitely the best apartment complex I have ever lived in!
