The Village at Overton Park

The management team is OUTSTANDING! Jackson helped my daughter through a situation and I’m extremely grateful! The entire management team is so helpful and works with their residents.

The management team-especially Jackson- made the leasing process a smooth one even when it was a sublease. Jackson went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled efficiently and correctly-there was a mixup, but he made sure to get it handled immediately and stayed in constant communication with us even during busy move-out and move-in times. Jackson was provided us with peace. On our move in day there was some disappointment with the state of the apartment (not cleaned, flat mattress, and poorly done patch repair jobs), but I had expected to do some cleaning as I had read horror stories from other apartment reviews-thankful Village was nothing like what I feared (I should’ve stayed off Google). When we moved in the items that needed addressed that day were, in fact, handled same day or the within the next few days. We documented everything on the move in forms and took pictures and videos as instructed and even with all the questions we had, the team at Village were outstanding and patient. My son has been there for a month and so far has no complaints and is happy with his choice in apartments. I pray the move out process next fall is just as easy as the move in process and there are no issues then either.

‼️AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS‼️ If you pay by check, you will be charged with late fees due to “accounting errors,” according to their employee Jay (which means accounting negligence). On one occasion, I had to firmly assert to them that I paid it on time and present the receipt in order for them to cooperate - they will take advantage and prey on naiveness. Same thing happened again in June. They still haven’t removed charge and I moved out a month ago! Fire alarms would go off during the middle of the night randomly. This place is criminal.

Jackson was wonderful to talk to! He helped my daughter out in a pinch when circumstances were out of her control. He had to go to a lot of trouble, but make it happen. Very grateful. This new management team has already made great strides making the renting experience not just a good experience, but a great one.

they were so nice they gave me anything i could possibly needed! batteries to cleaning supplies to paper towels. i wasn’t even sure what i needed but they gave me a bunch just in case.
