Summer Place Apartments

I’ve resided here going on 2 years here soon. Today I came home to a broken A/C. I called and within the hour, Maintenance was at my front door. As they were taking me care of. I began thinking of the past few times I’ve called for an issue and how FAST it was resolved. I have Not had One issue while being here. The staff is Great and Always treats me right. I wanted to post my personal experiences with Summer Place Apartments in hopes it helps others. If you are looking for a new place. I can tell you “I’m happy I am here & you will be too!!!”

I lived at Summer Place Apartments from May 2020 to June 2025, and while the maintenance crew was consistently wonderful and Ingrid in the office was always kind and helpful, my overall experience was made miserable by the office manager, Diana. From my very first interaction with her, she’s been rude, condescending, and acts like every tenant is an inconvenience. Her attitude is consistently cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. They misspelled my name on official documents and communications for nearly FIVE YEARS, despite me repeatedly asking them to correct it. Most recently, Diana sent me an aggressive, presumptuous message “assuming” I had vacated my unit early and “assuming” I wouldn’t pay what I owed — all while addressing me by the wrong name again. This was before my lease even officially ended. The sheer lack of respect, attention to detail, and basic decency is astonishing. For a tenant who lived there for half a decade, paid rent every month (and late fees when applicable), kept the unit in good condition, and followed their policies, to be treated this poorly at move-out is appalling. The way Diana handles communication is hostile and passive-aggressive at best — she makes it abundantly clear she doesn’t care about residents as people, just their money. If you value being treated with respect where you live, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. It’s clear from my experience that unless you’re handing them cash on time and staying invisible, you’re a problem to be tolerated. Absolutely one of the most frustrating and disappointing rental experiences I’ve had. Moving out was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
