Stangel Hall

Food: 4/5 delicious and various People: 1/5 people suck. They blast music out loud even at night, and do annoying pranks on other people, including leaving bags of trash and ding dong ditch on others doors. I strongly recommend getting a single room dorm somewhere else. Convenience: 3/5 it's ok. All my classes take no longer than 20 minutes to get to by walking. Life: 2/5 again, people suck, plus the hot water pressure is not enough after 8 o clock. Safety: 4/5 it's pretty ok. At least I feel safe.

Logistically, this is one of the better places to start on campus. Centrally located with amenities. Texas Tech in general, is a welcoming environment. I noticed enough security features at Stangle Hall, that I can describe is as being on par with a hotel. The rooms themselves are on par with other campuses, and being an older building the are community bathrooms. It is fine for starting a new adventure in life.

Top notch dorm, w amazingly good food options.

My daughter is community Advisor in Stangel. The university does a good job of securing the premises for safety. The living quarters are a little dated but sufficient for most College students living and learning
