Funky apartments washers take your money and the homeless steal your clothes from the washer and management does nothing about it the washer rooms are extremely dirty and almost all don’t work just take $2 for every single washer and dryer and they’re extremely dirty just the worst apartments to ever live in Oh and my neighbors smoke weed in front of my children every day not to mention they didn’t finish the back gates and everyone that lives here is extremely rude and the outside of the apartments is extremely dirty with extremely dirty dark windows that make you feel like you live in a dark cave absolutely horrible management

This is a great starter apartment- to see what you don't want. I, unfortunately, went through the inventory condition form on a rush and didn't mark a majority of this down. To start- this place has been remodeled badly over time. It's okay. But there's things that don't look good, are tacky, and the cleaning done to my apartment was awful before I moved in. For example, it looks like they slapped paint around as it was all around light switches, etc. There was a kitchen drawer that the knob was removed from, and they just painted it shut. There was pee on the bottom of the toilet (not pictured cause I too quickly cleaned that up as it was disgusting). Theres screws through the water heater closet frame which is a hazard in my opinion (pictured). There's a part of the kitchen backing thats just missing a piece (pictured). There's a piece of peel and stick or vinyl flooring that was supposed to look like a trim I guess in the bathroom but it just looks bad and is it not cut evenly? They caulked over mold and mildew in the tub, painted it (pictured in peeling paint), got caulking on the side of the tub and left it there, painted over mold and mildew at the top of the shower. The shower base is rusted and sprays from the side as well. Also black specs come out of the bathtub faucet occasionally (pictured). When I came they were redoing windows thankfully but I still had to live for about a month with a window that had a giant gap between the frame and glass. It's right next to a stadium. That was hot, loud, and miserable. Then I had issues of the workers that remodeled stealing my power tools (never got a response from the apartment's email address on that funnily, they only respond to maintenance requests through the portal). No one ever told me that they were putting my mail in the main office while they remodeled the windows so I kept checking a mail box wondering where my mail was as well? I put in a maintenance request once on the AC because it squealed. I got a response the next day someone would be out there. They came out and the only difference I noticed was maintenance stuffing paper towells under my AC (pictured). The work order was marked complete the next day. So I lived with a squealing ac for 10 months out of the 12 I was there. When they remodeled they never came back to fix the electric as well so I had outlets loose from the wall. They also left the old blinds in my closet and never threw them out, never picked them up, etc. So it was always in my way. There is a HUGE roach problem. They did have people come and spray for bugs but really they just sprayed haphazardly all over the floor and didn't do a good job. So I asked the office each time to skip my apartment and I had an exterminator come look. Additionally the front door and ac aren't sealed so that contributed to the bug problem. And as you can imagine that made for extremely hot summer and a very expensive electric bill as well. All in all, the neighbors aren't nosy, they're nice, I felt safe. But the apartment was gross, unclean, and I probably could've done 20 to 30 maintenance requests my entire time there to fix these issues. Which to me- is bad customer service and a problem. NO ONE should have to clean piss off the side of the toilet upon moving into their home. NO ONE should have their items stolen and emails ignored about the issue even if the workers returned your items the following day. I'm glad I had a place to be for a year. But I'm super glad to move on.

Please save your money and DO NOT rent @ this apartment complex. So many issues from the day I moved in. From day one the apartment wasn’t ready and I had to clean it ALL myself. There was so much trash left from the previous owners. The apartment was not inspected before moving in. Holes in the door and missing handles on drawers. I have been waiting on blinds for 3 months now. Have still yet to receive my deposit back. When I went to the office little could be done without Amanda’s approval. She was very kind when I first inquired about the apartments but when I have gone to her with issues that I am having she seems defensive and has yet to apologize about the apartments shortcomings. Almost seems like she is mad when she receives complaints. But I would not be complaining if I didnt have these issues. Horrible customer service. Roaches have also been a problem here. Beyond ridiculous to see these things around the apartment when you pay so much for rent. Hoping they will come spray again. The website is not at all updated. The apartments may have looked like that 10 years ago. If you see them present day they are completely run down. The outside is not kept up with. So many potholes all around. It looks like they DO NOT CARE here. I was shown a “model” apartment which is fairly nice. However looks nothing like the one I am living in. The best way to describe this place is SLOPPY. I cannot wait to get out of this here !! I have had to document everything since I have been here. So many issues. Best advice know your renters rights.

Sloane, and the Oak Creek Staff, were super helpful throughout the entire leasing process! Sloane worked super hard to make sure everything was in order and on time for move in! EDIT: The apartment was in no way ready for someone to move in, and they also did not hold up their end. Sloane is no longer at this office. It took them 4 months to give me my deposits back. The apartment was disgusting when I moved in, I had to clean it on my own. The. they proceeded to charge me when I moved out.
