I lived in Escondido for a year. This is my review. Management: Chelsee and Heavenlly are amazing managers. Super nice and anytime I and an issue they were quick to respond. I had a few issues moving in and Chelsee took care of everything. They are both very proactive in making sure that residents are following the guidelines of their lease. For example anytime residents were not picking up after their pet. The would sent out notices and actively work to stop people who were not doing as they should. Someone would come and pick up pet waste. I rarely saw waste on the ground for an extended period of time. They also take the no smoking indoors policy seriously. So be mindful of that if you like to smoke. Apartments: The apartments themselves are nice. They are your standard apartments. I rarely heard my neighbors. I feel like the walls are decently thick. Some of the appliances were quite old. I had a really noisy refrigerator that was not cleaned well before I moved in and the dishwasher was pretty grimy on the inside. But other than that no complaints. Escondido is the most economical of the Elm Park apartments. I feel like you really get value for what you pay. The pool is pretty decent as well. I never got a chance to use the workout center. Location: Located in Elm Park area. Across the street is a nice park with walking trails, green space, picnic tables, and a dog park. Very well laid out sidewalks that allow for walking or running. Overall a very nice area. Overall I would give the apartments a 4.5 so I'll round up to 5 stars. They were very fair on my move out charges and although I chose not to renew the renewal price was the SAME as what I was currently paying. I feel like its extremely rare for a complex not to raise rates so that is really nice.

We (my wife & i) have Lived here since it opened in November 2015. In those eight years, the staff has had some turnover, but all of the staff who have ever worked here have been fabulous. It is a great complex in a larger, master-planned apartments community with a pond inside a park that also contains a dog-park, walking path, and lots of room. The apartments themselves are great with good layouts, and the maintenance is responsive, the office helpful, and there are seasonal events to enjoy. They are expensive, but worth every penny for what You get. We Love it here!

I have lived at Escondido for almost 2 years now and love it! One of the big pulls was to have the private park with the dog park. Love how this complex (and others) are tucked back away from heavy traffic and the city. It's close enough to get anywhere quick, but still get a quiet area to live. The apartment managers are quick to reply and usually fix everything within a short amount of time!

I loved living here! Our apartment was gorgeous and comfortable. Management is friendly and super helpful. The property is well kept and is very peaceful. Maintenance responds to all issues in a timely manner. Never had a single issue in a year and a half. The move out process was hassle free!

Really enjoyed living here! The apartments themselves are pretty much brand new, so I never had any real maintenance issues. The layout of the complex is really close to the loop, but set behind a park so you never hear major traffic noises. The staff is super friendly and professional, and overall very easy to communicate with. The pool area is pretty and has nice places to sit and hang out, and the gym has all the basics. Residents are primarily young professionals, so never heard any partying or loud obnoxious people. Probably one of my favorite aspects of Escondido is the proximity to the park. It's very relaxing to be able to walk right across the street and take a stroll. Never felt unsafe while on the property or in the park, even when I was by myself. It does seem to get pretty hectic in the fenced-in dog park area when everyone gets off from work though, so I would note that if you have a doggo that maybe doesn't do well in large groups (and there's still plenty of space to leash walk around the rest of the park). Overall, very lovely place to live, with a decent price point considering the better insulation/lower utility bills and lack of maintenance issues or stress. Plus, the sunsets out here are pretty awesome. Recommend!
