Dakota Arms Apartments

Okay so where to even begin Yall. They are remodeling the apartments on the property and I’m starting to think all thier money is getting spent on these apartments “Glow up” but yet they can’t fix the pool? It’s been THE WHOLE SUMMER. so you can’t blame other people like yall did in the little email you sent about blaming past management. Yall have been in charge for more than half a year. You are telling me that whole time you didn’t check the pool?and the front gate being OPEN FOR A MONTH NOW. I don’t understand how you can afford to remodel and repaint to get new tenants in. But what about your CURRENT tenants you have? We lost one of our very few community amenities and it seems yall are to focused on remodeling. If you take a tour here stop and talk to the residents here trust me…. I hate bashing and leaving a one star review but damn this is insane and I’m mad about it and so is everyone else here like we are upset and I feel like some type of compensation or something is in order.

Having the Pool listed as an amenity is a joke at this point. It’s never open it’s always green it’s been closed for two weeks straight now and majority of the summer and if it does finally open (which I highly doubt it will) it’s going to be packed because it’s been closed all summer. You would think they would have it ready for the summer but they did not. The apartment themselves aren’t bad but the pool being closed this long is a utter joke I feel bad for the kids that live here and the parents that have kids that want them to go to the pool. So we got an Email about and the pool doesn’t take months to get the pool serviced. I worked on Pools for years that’s not right they are trying to cut costs and find a Cheaper route and there simply isn’t one. Having the pool open later in the fall doesn’t change things. Kids have school. College student have school. Yall took over from last management many months ago come on now.

We have lived here for a year it’s been the best place we have lived in Lubbock so far. Staff is very nice and friendly. Very kind and willing to listen if anything is going on. Maintenance is fast and reliable. Also really like we have valet trash.
