EDIT: I MOVED OUT FEBRUARY 2ND DONT MOVE HERE I PAID $2680 TO MOVE OUT WITHIN A MONTH OF MOVING IN DONT DO IT!! DO NOT MOVE HERE. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I truly hate this apartment and wish I never signed this lease. I moved in on January 5th, and in just three weeks, this place has caused me nothing but stress, frustration, and emotional distress. I already want out of this lease, even though I’ve barely lived here. I relocated from Iowa to Texas for a job, expecting a safe, stable place to live while starting a new chapter of my life. Instead, this apartment has made my life extremely difficult since the day I moved in. The Wi-Fi situation has been a complete nightmare. The apartment claims internet is “provided,” yet I was forced to deal with Xfinity myself. I’ve been given the runaround nonstop. Appointments disappear, technicians get scheduled and canceled without notice, and no one takes responsibility. Xfinity says it’s the apartment’s issue, the apartment says it’s Xfinity’s — meanwhile I’m stuck without reliable internet and being told I could still be charged. I’m trying to REMOVE the internet from my personal account since it’s supposedly included, and management refuses to help or take accountability. Now let’s talk about health, safety, and livability, because these issues have been present since I moved in on January 5th: • The AC was leaking into the shower (maintenance fixed it) • Doors were not closing properly (maintenance fixed them) • The patio light did not work (maintenance fixed it) • Roaches, which is completely unacceptable — especially after only three weeks • Blinds are missing in the bedrooms • The foundation is bad • The laundry room floods • My oven does not work • Maintenance is slow, inconsistent, and reactive instead of preventative No one should be dealing with roaches, leaks, broken appliances, and safety issues within weeks of moving in. These are serious health and safety concerns and show a lack of proper inspection before move-in. This situation has caused me extreme emotional distress. I cry almost every night because of how stressful and overwhelming this has been. I should not feel trapped in a lease after just three weeks of living here. This apartment complex is poorly maintained, poorly managed, and incredibly disappointing. If you’re considering moving here, please take this as a warning.

The maintenance guy Junior has been doing an excellent job with assisting with all my issues. He makes sure all my work orders are addressed in a timely manner. He's always respectful before entering and while he's in my unit.

I came in looking for an apartment, I was taken care of by Joanna, I applied, the whole process was easy and well explained from the tour to the application and move in process. I am very happy with my service here, I recommend Joanna as your leasing agent 10/10 apartments are close to everything but definitely recommend this place!

Joanna Rubio has been an absolute pleasure to work with! My father and I have been coming to Villa Solano for nearly 6 months and finally moved in Dec 1st. Once Joanna got involved, the process went quickly and smoothly as she's thorough in her consistent communication, she sets realistic expectations and walked us thru each step. She was ALWAYS readily available to assist with any questions or concerns we may have had. The apartment itself is absolutely beautiful. Newly renovated inside as well as updates constantly being made on the outside. She made the entire process so easy, without her assistance of always going above and beyond, I'm not sure we would've made the move. If you have any specific requests on your living accomodations that you would need to make your stay better, she's more than happy to fulfill any and all requests you may have. If you're looking for an affordable, luxury apartment a stones throw away from the NRG Park, near 610 and 288 as well as the Med Center that has a lot of shopping and restaurant spots mins away, Villa Solano is the place you should be looking at to stay. When you visit, ask specifically for Joanna so your move can be as smooth as ours.

Moving into Villa Solano Apartments has been an incredible experience from start to finish. The staff here is truly amazing — friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to helping residents feel welcome. They go above and beyond every step of the way, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. What stood out the most was how dedicated they were to making sure I found the perfect home. They worked with me patiently, answered every question, and made sure I was taken care of. Thanks to their effort, I was able to move into a beautifully renovated unit that exceeded my expectations. The upgrades are modern, fresh, and thoughtfully designed — it really feels like home the moment you walk in. If you’re looking for a place with a caring team and gorgeous newly renovated apartments, Villa Solano is definitely the place to be. Highly recommended!
