The Edge Apartments

I have lived here for a year and have always had a good experience with the staff until recently. I came to the office because I canceled my lease and noticed I am being charged additional fees. I am hoping we can work together to find a fair solution. Yesterday, a staff member told me to return today and said the extra charges could be removed due to the inconvenience that occurred. However, today I received different information. I understand misunderstandings can happen, and I would really appreciate it if the team could review my case and clarify the situation. I value good communication and would like to resolve this in a respectful and positive way. Thank you for taking the time to review my concern.

I provided my move-out notice 70 days in advance on October 20, 2025, with an official lease end date of December 31, 2025. I vacated the apartment on December 30, 2025 and returned the keys to the leasing office. Despite this, the office is now trying to charge me rent for January. I have sent multiple emails and messages, but the staff does not respond at all. Whenever I visit or call, they say they are busy and don’t address the issue. Very poor communication and unprofessional handling of move-out procedures. I would not recommend this place due to lack of accountability and response from management.

I’ve lived in this apartment complex for almost nine years, and up until recently, I’ve never had any issues with management. I’ve always felt comfortable walking into the office to voice any concern or request, and things were always handled quickly and professionally. Even when the staff were busy with other tenants, they still made sure my work orders were completed in a timely manner which I’ve always appreciated. Unfortunately, my experience has changed recently. I now hesitate to go into the office when the manager is present because of how I’ve been spoken to in a way that feels belittling or disrespectful. After nearly a decade of living here and feeling at home, that’s been very disappointing. I truly love this community and would like to see it return to the respectful and welcoming environment it once was. I’d also appreciate knowing if there’s someone else I can speak to regarding my concerns, aside from the current manager.

Moving in was a breeze, I really appreciate the front office. Since we’ve moved in I had to make some minor work orders and Charles was quick to assist. Changed out a few items and they were brand new. He didn’t hesitate to make sure the job was done and made sure I was satisfied.

I had a wonderful experience visiting the apartment complex today. Cynthia, the manager, and her assistant, Israel, were both extremely helpful and welcoming. They answered all of my questions thoroughly, and Israel even made sure I was comfortable after my walk. Cynthia explained everything clearly and patiently. Their professionalism and kindness truly stood out. I’m excited about the possibility of making these apartments my new home once my current lease ends.
