I have lived at Millennium High Street for the last few years, and unfortunately, my experience has become increasingly concerning, especially when it comes to maintenance issues and security. During my time here, I have dealt with several major issues, including roof leaks during heavy storms/hurricane weather, ongoing AC problems, and AC outages in multiple units. I have lived in two different units since being here, so these concerns are not based on one isolated experience. The biggest issue for me now is the lack of security in the parking garage. Within the last six months, my wife’s car was broken into, and just a few days ago, my moped was stolen from the parking garage. I have also seen other vehicles in the garage with broken windows, so this does not appear to be an isolated issue. There was a time when security had a much stronger presence in the garage. A security vehicle used to be parked near the garage entrance, and guards would regularly walk through the parking garage at different times of the day and night. That level of visibility made residents feel like the garage was actually being monitored. That no longer seems to be the case. I was told that security now walks the entire property periodically throughout the night. While I understand the need to patrol the whole community, the parking garage is clearly one of the main areas where crime is happening. Cars, valuables, and motorcycles/mopeds are located there, which makes it a target. Random hallways, back streets, or areas near dumpsters should not receive more attention than the areas where residents are actually experiencing theft and break-ins. Another major concern is that the parking garage gate is frequently broken. When the gate is not working, outsiders can access the garage, which creates an obvious security risk. After my wife’s car was broken into, we received an apology, but no meaningful security changes appeared to be made. After my moped was stolen, I was again told they are working on fixing the gate, but I have not been told that anything will actually change regarding security inside the garage. I want to be clear: this review is not written to unfairly damage anyone’s reputation. Everything I am saying is based on my actual experience as a resident. I believe people who are considering moving here deserve to know about these issues before signing a lease. If you value your vehicle, your belongings, and your peace of mind, I would strongly recommend doing your homework before choosing Millennium High Street. Ask direct questions about parking garage security, gate reliability, recent break-ins, and what is being done to prevent future theft. In my opinion, there is a real risk here due to the lack of consistent security in the parking garage, and prospective residents should consider that carefully before moving in. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes real improvements, because the residents here deserve to feel safe where they live.

Was visiting a friend who lives here and while my car was in the garage it got broken into. They smashed my window and stole around $2,500 worth of stuff including a Gun (unloaded, no bullets anywhere in the bag). We called police and are working with them but when I called this office to try and get help they were very rude, unhelpful and had Zero empathy. When I asked her for her name, she hung up on me. Additionally the gate was broken and left in the open position so anyone could get in but there was no security guard we could find (there were 6 of us looking and we were there for a few hours waiting for police). My friend (the resident) says security is part of her rent but when she talked to the office they told her that she only pays for her room and that she shouldn’t ask questions about security bc she doesn’t pay for it…. Thank god I have insurance but this was a horrible experience. I understand not everyone’s experience is going to match mine and I hope it doesn’t but this was mine.

I really really wanted to love it here! Before I say anything negative, I will say property staff has been so helpful and whenever we put in a work order (which is a LOT sadly), our problems are tended to quickly. We have had several issues and we haven’t even been here for 2 months. Our AC stopped working yesterday and we found out we had a gas leak. When maintenance came to fix (very timely, so we are thankful!) we were told our filters were very dirty too and needed changed ASAP. We have an 11month old, so all of this is very alarming. Our refrigerator and freezer has dropped in temperate twice now to where we’ve had the throw everything out, our washer needed service the second we moved in - it didn’t even turn on. We had light bulbs missing, missing screens on our window had never been replaced from tenants before us, a window lock was completely broken, the shower in our guest bedroom was leaking from the other side of the wall into our living area when used (so now we just don’t use it so it doesn’t ruin our sectional), faucets in our primary bath needed fixing the second we moved in… Needless to say I think it’s time for a few units to get updated appliances! Hopefully we won’t continue to need this amount of work throughout our time here, but it has been a rough start.
