Meyer Oaks Apartments

I recently moved here from Dallas about 3 months ago and I can honestly say this has been one of the worst apartment experiences I’ve ever had. Meyer Oaks Apartments looked decent at first, but once I moved in I realized how horrible the conditions really are. There is a serious cockroach infestation inside the apartments and I’ve also seen rats around the complex multiple times. No matter how much you try to clean, the pest problem keeps coming back because it feels like the entire property is neglected. The environment here has also gotten worse over the past few months. There is always some type of disturbance happening, whether it’s loud arguments, suspicious activity. A lot of people have moved out because of how bad things have become, and instead of actually fixing the issues, management seems more focused on filling empty units as fast as possible. It honestly feels like they are letting random people move in without caring about the safety or quality of the community anymore. Maintenance requests take forever, the property is poorly maintained, and the overall atmosphere feels unsafe and stressful. For the amount of money residents pay, nobody should have to live in these kinds of conditions. I am seriously disappointed and regret choosing this complex after relocating to Houston. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful, or professionally managed apartment community.

I've been living in Meyer Oaks for 1 year and a half and it's been great. The area is perfect and the neighborhood is quiet and super convenient to everything in Meyerland. The management is professional and maintenance is quick to respond. I am really glad that I can call Meyer Oaks as my home.

Trying to push the accurate reviews down with lying reviews I will be here uploading every month I currently stay here at Meyer oaks but plan on leaving very soon these apts has 7 different hazards from mold to unlocked balconies outlets hanging off walls etc. I have babies and currently pregnant and I’ve complained soooooo many times about the mold growing on my ac that’s I was told that I was responsible for cleaning up and only been here 6-7 months they charge you for their problems for example they let me move into my unit 3 days before I was originally suppose to move into just for the drain in my tub not be fix which is a issue they tried to throw on me and have me pay 200 for that I refused to pay if you don’t speak up for yourself they will try to over ride you A balcony that wouldn’t close that I had to keep reminding them to come fix because I have two kids that took them three months to come fix outlets that wasn’t properly screwed into the wall and had the screws just sitting inside the outlet that my child had access to as well as my blinds burnt looking like it was a fire in my unit before moving me in that they did not replace I will be uploading the pictures All the staff lives on the property so they truly do not care

The application process was simple and straightforward and the leasing staff was very friendly. I loved the unit i viewed. It has ample closet space, washer and dryer and a patio! The neighborhood is quiet and i love the nearby restaurants and stores. They were definitely my first choice and i can’t wait to move in and call Meyer Oaks my new home!
