This hotel needs a make over. It is so run down. It offered two rooms with kings and added in each room so we could both work but that is the only positive comment. There is mold on the vents, see photos, and they are working hard to cover up the musty smell by using HUGE amounts of air fresheners. The television needs replacing as the screen is failing, see photos. I do NOT recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for one night and was given a room occupied by someone else. I used the key card to get into my room and someone was asleep in the bed. Scary for me and for them. I went back to the front desk and nobody was around. The staff ensured me nobody was supposed to be in there. They went to check to confirm and moved me to the room next door.

I am absolutely furious about our experience at this. We booked through Hotels.com for a medical procedure, and while the initial interaction seemed promising, things quickly fell apart. The online photos promised a clean, comfortable environment, but we found a filthy room with stained carpets, mold on the walls and sofa, and dirty bedding. Given the medical nature of our visit, cleanliness was non-negotiable, and we were deeply concerned about infection. Initially, the hotel staff seemed somewhat helpful, but the issues really began when we sought resolution. After the manager eventually approved a refund, we were still left with the ongoing stress of dealing with the aftermath. Now, weeks later, the situation is even worse. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the hotel staff and Hotels.com has been a nightmare to deal with. Every time we reach out, we’re connected to a different agent, and the cycle repeats. They’ve been trying to contact the hotel, but the property simply does not answer their phones. It’s an endless loop of frustration. In conclusion, while the initial response seemed helpful, the complete lack of follow-through and the ongoing unresponsiveness from both the hotel and Hotels.com is completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding both the hotel and Hotels.com. This entire experience has been a stressful and infuriating ordeal.

I normally don’t allow a review stop me from my own experience, but in this case, I wish I had most of the bad reviews are 100% accurate in my opinion. I stayed here 11/6-11/9/25 I got stuck in the elevator closet to the front. The door latch was broken. My room had a funny smell. The first alarm was hanging out the wall. The hallway was hot and muggy. I didn’t see any security for the garage. It was open the whole time anybody had access the laundry room is in horrible condition. The ice machine has mold. I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s a good location of course because it’s in the Galleria. it’s cheaper than the Hyatt Regency, but if you could afford to stay elsewhere do so.

Mark Thompson Oct 7, 2025, 8:52 AM EDT It was acceptable all things considered. Price was reasonable.I wished the people who cleaned the rooms spoke English. I was given the wrong information because they couldn't understand me. Made me walk all over the building. But my only other, and biggest beef is. When I arrived room paid for fully. They said I could not stay because I did not have a credit card. I had two bank cards. They said they needed it for incidentals because again the room was totally paid for. I don't mind that rule per se. My beef is I should have been told way before arrival. When I try to give cash for incidentals, the price went from 25 a day to 100 a day. The manager asked me to leave if I didn't have $200 in cash or a credit card no debit or bank card accepted. Leave or he was calling the police. Again my room was totally paid for. I had to wind up calling a family member to come and complete the check-in process with the credit card. Notification would have saved a lot of stress and frustration. Manager says it's the third party responsibility. I say that representing you somehow you have to get the public to know about that rule / policy. The restaurant wasn't open the whole weekend. The continental breakfast was pretty good actually. And the room was nice. Oh wait the first room they gave me I walked in with my key and there was a woman sleeping in the bed I backed out. The second room they gave me was very nice but had no bedding. The third room they gave me was bigger and also very nice. I just had to uproot my stuff from the second room to the first room process was tiring. So my stay was not bad, so so. Three out of five stars. Or 6 out of 10 Stars |
