First toured the property back in January and Polly was very helpful, but we were still comparing a few other places in the area. We came back today for a second look, and the fact that she actually remembered our names. That stood out to me! She gave us another detailed tour, answered all of our questions, and took the time to walk through everything again without rushing us. She’s knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. After coming back and seeing everything again, we’re confident this is the right place for us. Polly definitely helped make that decision. We’re looking forward to moving in!

Scheduled a tour for 4pm but dropped by early around 2:30 and asked if it was okay to linger til my appointment. Polly was extremely amicable and offered to take me to the rooms I wanted to see. She told me she would move my appointment up to 2:30 so that I wouldn’t appear as a no-show for the 4pm tour. Very considerate! Oh and she noticed my name on my ID and asked if I had a preferred name~ Told her Lilia 😋 I was extremely happy with the two rooms she showed me of the floor plans I’d asked to see. I was really happy that she was able to make my touring experience so easy and stress-free. When I asked bout bugs since I’m squeamish around roaches, she told me she honestly couldnt promise there wouldnt be problems with bugs, but that they had weekly exterminators and I could even request them to drop by personally! I appreciate the honesty, especially since I dont hold anything back when I talk to people! 😋 Ive only toured 2 apartments in total, so its very refreshing to be able to experience apartment shopping with a consultant like Polly!! I did read over the reviews afterward to get an idea of what to expect, and while they’re alarming, I did not notice the mentions of hallway trash or pests. I was shown the package room, where some packages had been left on top and she said they weren’t supposed to. The fitness room looked a bit dated but I could see it being kinda convenient at times, if I ever planned to be more healthy. And she even explored some of the newer additions to the property with me, like the fob gates on the sides that lead to the street. She even was flexible with my requests and said they could give me my 4 month term preference. Im really tempted to jump on this lease! 😋 I plan to revisit for another tour to ask questions about some of the things mentioned by other reviewers, and investigate some of the stuff I had missed or forgotten to ask. Are the tenants that are robbing people in the complex still present? Whats the trash chute on my floor look like? Do the Amazon lockers function or are they just for show? Is the package room actually unlocked to the public? Is there a security officer? When was the last time the pool was open, or is it true they’re actually just cleaning it the day I was there? I really want this to be everything I wanted, so Ill do my due diligence so Im not having to deal with things I know Im incapable of handling on my own (roaches terrify me). But I haven’t felt like the leasing consultants have had any intentions to lie or keep things from me so far, so I trust I can be completely honest and transparent with them. Even if I don’t sign a lease, heck even if someone snipes the room I want, Im happy to leave my review up considering how much I enjoyed meeting Ms Polly ❤️ Ill post an update on my findings in the near future! Hopefully its to say Ive decided to live here after all~ 🤭

BELIEVE ALL of the BAD REVIEWS. No pool 8 months out of the year, cops are here every weekend. Homeless people sleep on peoples patios when they are not home. This place is exactly what they describe. Filter newest reviews to see current status of this complex and by pass the first couple of fake reviews they paid for and READ the bad ones because there are many. They only tour clean parts of the building (amenity areas) so check out garage stairwells and each floor prior to moving in. Towing here is insane, management has a deal with tow drivers so your more likely to get towed than get anything fixed in your unit. Beware dealing with Maria the apt manager, she claims complaints are from angry tenants and puts on a facade to get you to sign a lease, then it’s a nightmare. The reviews on roaches are a real issues and there’s a fly infestation throughout the hallways. Trash often sits in the hallways at various hours of the day, They’ve only painted the floor by the office and model units, it’s been this way for over a year. There’s been 7 different property managers here in less than 2 years. Garage stairwells reak of urine when it rains. This place will reel you in with bells and whistles don’t trust it.

Heights West End is always welcoming, professional, and friendly every time I stop by to visit with staff. Maria, Polly, Ivan, and Alfonso are all part of a great team and are very passionate about their business and community. Resident events are very welcoming, and this team knows how to thank their residents for being a part of the Heights West End Community. Thanks!!!

I applied to this property due to personal circumstances, without touring it first—ended up losing $250 in the process (but that’s okay). The only real draw for me was the 8 weeks free offer, and the location, which is fantastic. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. When I visited, I was greeted by an angry tenant at the leasing office and had to wait in the common area. I’m actually glad I did because I quickly realized how poor the noise reduction was—you could hear everything, even people on the treadmill. The conference spaces were small, the lobby amenities felt dark, and the floors throughout the property were heavily scratched. For the price they’re asking, it didn’t seem worth it. Luckily, I found another place in the same price range, but with more space and better amenities, including a dining area. For transparency, I’m a realtor but didn’t mention it during my visit because I wanted to experience how they treat potential applicants firsthand. Overall, I’d advise doing a thorough tour before committing!
