Astoria Place

In May of this year, my brother needed a place for rehab. From the moment we reached out to Astoria, the staff was fantastic. The place was clean, every staff member we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. My brother was fairly mobile, so he was able to meet up with some of the assisted living residents and they really liked it there. There is a chance that assisted living is in the near future for my brother and this visit gave him a piece of mind that there are good places out there. To all families looking for a place for your loved one, whether it be for rehab or permanent…go visit in person any home you are considering.

I just spoke with someone from Administration and they told me they are coming up with a care plan for my friend, as well as a plan to get his wheelchair repaired. I hear that they have an auditorium, a barbershop, and a patio as well, which is really cool. I like how communicative the staff are being about my friend's stay and his care. And they keep their facility clean too. Astoria is way better than the nursing home where my friend was living a few years ago. Thus is a beautiful place inside and out, beautiful staff everyone. This is the place to be if you need help in any kind of way. Medical, physical therapy occupational therapy soeach therapy. . The staff is very friendly and respectful positive attitudes from all the staff from the head nurse, nurses ,nurses aid, therapist, housekeeping, kitchen every one. They made me sooo comfortable and really took care of my husband Rudolph Baker.
