Afton Gardens Apartments & Corporate Suites

I lived here for nearly two years while working in Houston. It was completely lovely living there. Clean, quiet, and extremely well-managed. On those rare occasions that I had a maintenance issue it was immediately addressed. I can't say enough nice things about Afton Gardens.

This has been my home for 3 years. Ben and Gloria are now my family in Houston. Even now whenever I plan on staying for the weekend or so in Houston, I first check with Gloria if she has something for me before I book hotels elsewhere. Her staff Alex, Victor and Laura are very helpful and are constantly working around the complex to keep it clean and secure. The complex and area are safe at all times. During Harvey, I was there and surprised how fortunate I was to stay safe and protected. Definitely recommend them to anyone seeking temporary housing in Houston. I just hope I get my spot when I need one now :)

I originally anticipated living at Afton Gardens for a few months after moving to Texas from out of state. The sale of my home did not go according to plan and wound up staying an entire year. I could not have been more lucky. Ben and Gloria worked with me and understood the fluidity of my situation. The apartments are great, have everything you need and if you do need something Ben and Gloria will try and accommodate you. They have housekeeping onsite should you need it and there is a constant presence of management and staff available daily. I lived at Afton during Hurricane Harvey and Ben and Gloria went around the small complex personally speaking with every tenant to make sure they were okay and what to do if anything happened. Fortunately Afton Gardens was not flooded nor the area it is located in Afton Oaks. The unit I stayed in was #110 and it was lovely. The beautiful courtyard was right outside my door and Ben and Gloria along with the staff were constantly tending all the flowers, plants and the lovely fountain. Laundry facility is located onsite and never had a problem even with the place at full capacity. The Barbecue Pit is located in the courtyard and anyone can use it. The apartments are very sound proof and I never had a problem with noise. There was always parking available and the gate to the interior of the courtyard and apartments was locked every evening. Additionally the parking area is under video surveillance and there was never an issue with car being broken into etc. I had a lovely experience at Afton Gardens and made friends with my neighbors. I feel very fortunate to have found Afton and am sure anyone looking for a home for a short spell or a long one as was my case will be very happy. Additionally the location cannot be beat and as I said earlier in this post, Ben and Gloria and their entire staff was exceptional.

Our nine month stay at Afton Gardens was delightful. Ben and Gloria were perfect hosts. They were there every day supervising the cleaning and maintenance of the property. Any issues were addressed promptly. The neighborhood is patrolled by a private security company and we always felt safe. Afton Gardens is one of Houston’s hidden gems.
