I had a wonderful experience with Madison at The Scenic at Rivereast. She was very kind, welcoming, and full of positive energy—greeted me with a warm smile and truly listened to everything I had to say. The property is beautiful and well maintained, and the staff is amazing. I highly recommend Maddison and this community! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We lived here for several years and overall really enjoyed our time at the scenic. The location is a huge plus as it’s close to trinity river, downtown, stockyards and breweries. It’s also super walkable during the day and pet friendly. It’s also pretty quiet at night for the most part. Amenities are also really nice and great to host friends. I know everyone’s experience is different but Samantha and team were helpful when issues came up. Pete drove up on a Sunday to fix our heater during the winter freeze and Rachel made sure the AC was fixed a few hours before we were set to host an event at the sky lounge. The scenic at river east worked for us and we would definitely recommend!

This is a great place to live if you don’t mind constant break ins, an over crowded pool full of non residents, and being charged $400+ in hidden cleaning fees upon move out. We lived there for 1 year. Our “private secure garage” was broken into THREE times. The security gate was never closed and they absolutely didn’t care about privacy or safety of residents. The cameras never worked. The gate never worked. Guest parking is non existent. The staff is rude. We were charged a $400 fee and lost our deposit because of a BS fake carpet cleaning charge. We tried to dispute the charges with them and they stopped contacting us and chose to send the charges to a collection company over a year after we moved out. Do not move here. It looks nice. But you will regret it.

I moved out of the scenic yesterday and honestly I am sad. I lived there for 3 years and honestly I never had ONE single issue there. Every single maintenance request was addressed within 24 hours. It was quiet. No noise complaints. Never had theft. I cannot think of one single thing to complain about. Sam in the office is the kindest and most helpful and on your side manager you can ask for. The location is amazing, amenities are great I have tons of friends in other apartments and they have not been as lucky as me. I wish I didn’t have to move honestly. Thanks to the whole staff for 3 perfect years !

******** As a follow up. The business replied to this review asking me to contact them. I have sent handfuls of emails to no response. Their comment was all for show and there was no intention of making anything right. That type of behavior should tell you all you need to know. Stay away from them ******** Review of The Scenic at River East I strongly advise potential renters to steer clear of The Scenic at River East, managed by Greystar. My experience living here has been nothing short of a disaster, marked by continuous maintenance issues, rude staff, and hidden fees that they use to unfairly gouge tenants upon move-out. The nightmare began when my shower started leaking in February, causing severe water damage to the baseboards. I reported the issue numerous times, and despite multiple failed attempts to fix it—replacing baseboards, resealing the shower, and installing blockers—the leak persisted for months. Mold became a concern, but my pleas to management went largely ignored. In one particularly frustrating instance, I was forced to leave my apartment with my dog for an entire weekend while they attempted to fix the shower by resealing the pan. After vacating my home for 48 hours, as instructed, I returned to find the problem completely unresolved. No functional shower and no real solution in sight, despite all the inconvenience. Even when a plumber finally discovered the real issue—a crack under the shower pan—the repair process dragged on for weeks, leaving me without a usable shower for an extended period of time. I had to physically go to the office to get keys to a temporary unit, as management refused to answer my calls or emails promptly. I was left with a loud humidifier in my bathroom to be left running for a week. The lack of communication and disregard for my basic living needs was appalling. To make matters worse, when I moved out, they charged me for carpet damage caused by their own water leaks and used my pet addendum to stick me with hidden cleaning fees that were not made clear in the lease. These fees felt like nothing more than a money grab, especially considering the poor condition they left my apartment in. The Greystar staff, were rude and unprofessional, with no accountability for the continued problems in my unit. Paula even had the nerve to accuse me of not following maintenance instructions properly, which was both untrue and infuriating. If you’re considering living here, I highly recommend you think twice. Between the constant maintenance problems, the unprofessional staff, and the hidden fees, this place has been a nightmare. Save yourself the hassle and find a better-managed property.
