The Scenic at River East

Coming towards the end of my lease, have been living here for almost two years. This is by far the best apartment complex I’ve stayed at in my adult life. The management is awesome, and super helpful. Paula has been great from start to finish. Anytime I need something, she gets back to me quickly and gets the job done. Really, all of management is super nice and friendly. The maintenance team is also really great, when you need something done - it gets done. They also leave your place just like you left it when they’re done doing what they need to do, and they’re careful with your animals. Haven’t had any issues with anyone who works at the Scenic. Being next to the river is what I’m going to miss most, and all the other amenities they provide. Also, most people who live here are super nice and respectful. I have had some noisy neighbors in the past, but for the most part, everyone has been cool. The dog park in the back of the complex has had some issues with cleaning up, but that’s more-so a people problem as opposed to the apartment problem. Management has nipped that in the bud pretty quickly so it’s been a lot cleaner now. The pool is also very nice, can be noisy at times but that’s par for the course when people are having fun. Overall, I’d stay here longer if I didn’t need to move elsewhere. Definitely give this place a try if you’re looking for a great place to live.

Madison Madison Madison!!! I jokingly told her her beauty and spirit gives America Next Top Leasing Agent! Our tour didnt even feel like a tour! She was so real and personable. We toured the complex and two units and she truly sold me! In the last 30 days I have toured well over 10 complexes and not one has met every single thing that I am looking for in my next residence but The Scenic did! Literally not one Con for me! I love that they are resident friendly and dog friendly community! Madison already feels like family to me. We bonded over likeness when it comes to complex amenities and getting what you pay for. I truly belive this will be my next place of residency God Willing. The property seems quiet and well kept. Many perks and beauty. The Trinity River access is a bonus and ofcourse my job being 13 minutes away and Target being less than 10 minutes away I would be insane to not choose this as my next place of residency. I have to shout out to Madison again she did not rush me, she was so kind with my many questions and sometimes I had to ask twice just for clarification not once did I see her on her phone or give up on my comprehension to somethings (I have an overstimulating mind). Her kind soul and tour guide skills helped me envision what it would be like for me to be a resident. I love the gym and that rooftop sky lounge OHMYGOSH 🤩😍 I LITERALLY CAN NOT WAIT to get my keys. After my tour the rest of the office staff ladies were super friendly welcoming and inviting. Madison Coco and I will see you soon!! 🫶🏾

Generally an okay place to live for the lower price you pay, but you definitley get what you pay for.. Management is not helpful or communicative. More times than not when I needed assistance upon moving in the leasing office would be closed during regular business hours and my calls/voicemails would not be answered. I ended up moving out after 5 months and paying a ridiculously high fee to break my lease because the tenant above me was so loud that I literally could not sleep at night. When I moved out I was charged a $130 cleaning fee, even though I spent hours cleaning the unit top to bottom. I would understand if the unit was clean when I initially moved in, but it was absolutely disgusting and reeked of weed before I even got there. My feet were black from simply walking on the gross floors, and I had to hire a maid service on my own to make it even liveable. It’s ridiculous that I was charged for leaving the unit more clean than what I was given in the first place… And of course I was not even made aware of these post-move out charges for multiple months until Greystar themselves was reaching out to me about an “unpaid balance.” There was zero communication from Scenic management.

I toured with Madison and had a great time checking out the property with her. She’s super sweet and helpful and it’s a really nice location with a lot of perks and amenities. I’m definitely looking forward to leasing later this summer!
