Manager was unnecessarily difficult. It took 2 weeks to review application . I will say Penelope was awesome the manager over her shouldn’t be manager Penelope should be manager I hope she finds another job that shows her positive character traits. She is kind helpful and a good listener . I can’t help but wonder how difficult it would be to get maintenance request fulfilled if the manager is the way she is . Double minded and passive aggressive. I would have rented here but the behavior of the manager is unacceptable. I refuse to be treated anything less than a human . The lack of listening was annoying , talking over me , demanding answers after I stated I will call back I told her I was driving she disregarded what I said . She was not clear on what information was needed from the beginning I offered to bring in extra information and she said “I don’t think we’ll need that “ just to follow up 2 weeks later and need it . She was very rude . Refused to tell me another location of the mason apartments because I said I don’t want to rent from this specific location anymore. Overall the is a liability to the company. Only adding attitude and poor character .I am no longer interested in renting from the mason apartments as a whole no matter the location . It will not be successful if they keep hiring people like this to manage they’re businesses . I read the reviews of others and overlooked them to give the benefit of the doubt . From my own personal experience I agree with them ! TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT . Hope this has helped someone make a wise decision and don’t rent here ! Housing is very important and your choice of comfort matters 💕

MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT! Pros - Everyone stays to themselves - Neighborhood is ok. Cons - Went through 2 different management companies - Due to the building complex being on a hill it's caused the foundation to shift. (Only stating this because the window in my bedroom broke over a yr ago, but maintenance said they couldn't fix it because my bed was in the way. I as a single women with a kings size bed couldn't moved it) - Mold infested (it's caused me and my cat health issues like acne, breathing problems, seizures, eczema, random nerve twitches, nausea, and vomiting etc) - Roach infested (Residents in the unit next to mine had a roach problem. So after they moved out, the entire complex became infested. My down stairs neighbor and I put in multiple maintenance requests for the roach issue, and have tried to combat the problem ourselves by doing multiple bug bombs. I also addressed to the leasing office about the prior residents, and they told me that they cleaned and remodeled that unit. After over a yr of complaining about the vacant unit next to mine that caused this roach problem, we then find out that the unit next to mine has a giant opening in the ceiling with a bunch of dead roaches everywhere. The roaches are probably in the ceiling and have crawled through the entire complex) - There's a parking fee monthly fee (no assigned parking though, and not a lot of parking spaces) *Some of the neighbors and I have had the same issues* By the way there are more problems, but I'll leave it at that. The pictures at the bottom show the unit next to mine that was supposed to be remodeled and cleaned according to the leasing office. I also have pictures of the mold and roaches in my unit as well

Went to visit my daughter’s apartment and was honestly disgusted by how the whole complex looked. Trash everywhere, tall grass that looked like it hadn’t been cut in months, among other things being that it looked run-down. Was also appalled with the roach issue she’s facing in her apartment that wasn’t addressed by pest control she seems to be paying for every month. She cleans her apartment every day because of her daughter, so I’d imagine her neighbors are not the cleanest if the pest problem is still persistent. This is not an apartment complex I necessarily want my daughter in, but if issues could be fixed it would be a good establishment.
