The Depot

Came in on 12/29 at 4:10pm to fill out an application for a specific unit available now - as I am in a hurry to lease somewhere - and also view the apt since the office doesn’t close until 5:30. When I arrived the office was locked and nobody inside so I waited for employee in office to return. She returned 15 minutes later at 4:25pm and I immediately opened the door after she unlocked it. First she left the room again and came back down and said “what do you need?” I told her I was here to view an apt they had available and get the information and application for it. She said “I’m done with appts today come back tomorrow.” I looked at her confused because there was still over an hour left of office hours and I drove all the way out here after getting off work just to come here and do this now. I told her never mind because I was appalled at her attitude and if this is how they handle potential residents then I don’t want to know how they treat actual residents. She treated me like I was an inconvenience TO HER. When I said never mind and got up to leave, she said “wait no, like, I mean, what do you need.” I had said “I was interested in unit 3333 which showed available now” and she literally responded with “yeah what about it?” So I got up and said “you know what just never mind!” Because wow her attitude and treatment was disgusting. I can’t just drop everything I’m doing ONCE AGAIN and come back up here on YOUR time because you’re too lazy to take care of it today in your last 70 minutes of being open. I don’t know her name because she couldn’t even be bothered to give me that, but she had braids and her hair thrown up in a bun. Maybe reconsider training that one and have her treat potential new residents better. I guess I won’t be applying for that apt now since that is how I was treated the first 30 seconds of walking in the door.
