Skyview at Crawford

The Skyview on Crawford received new management and maintenance within the last month or so and they have been amazing! Very on top of things and quick to respond! I also want to give a big shoutout to D. Blackman, the one taking care of the maintenance. I have needed him multiple times this month and he has come through fast to get everything taken care of. He even came on a Sunday when he was spending time with his family due to my AC not working properly. He had it back up with 30 minutes!!! Thank you D Blackman

D. Blackman, the Maintenance Supervisor, has been awesome to work with. Any issue I’ve had has been taken care of incredibly fast, and he’s always been professional, kind, and efficient. It’s clear he cares about residents and takes pride in getting things resolved quickly. Really appreciate all of his help so far!!!

I would like to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank Dee, the Maintenance Manager at Skyview Apartments. His customer service is truly exceptional. When my son lost power, Dee responded immediately—even while attending a funeral—to come assist after being notified. Despite the community being under new management, his level of care and professionalism stands out far above expectations. No other manager reached out or attempted to check on my son during the extreme Texas heat, but Dee followed up personally, confirmed that the issue was with Oncor, and clearly explained the next steps. As well as a recent toilet leak which he has ordered a part to fix. AMAZING! It’s rare to encounter someone who takes their role this seriously and shows this level of urgency and compassion in an emergency situation. Dee is a true asset to the community. Thank you, Dee.

Ive been here almost a year and my experience continues to get worse by the day it seems. The office staff gave me an ada accomodation a month into my lease (they would take my trash because they told me they had valet trash at signing and i physically cant do it myself).This week a new staff has been hired and they are refusing to accomodate me for no reason! Ive also noticed in recent months many of the apartments are being turned into air bnbs, so maybe thats the real reason they dont want to accomodate, in hopes i move out. Theres also constant LOUD PHYSICAL FIGHTS in the hallways and on the street, at least once a week and typically in the middle of the night. The rent is high for a place the cops are at OFTEN. The walls (and ceilings) are thin so pray for a quiet neighbor! The apartment is also built poorly, i have no storage closet in my unit and the doors open directly onto each other. All in all, I cant recommend the skyview. Ive actually never seen an office staff be so unkind to good paying residents, ive never had an ada accomodation denied EVER so i am thoroughly disappointed that im clearly just a dollar sign to this staff. Melina was much better.
