Overlook Apartments

After I left, I started getting letters and calls from debt collectors about an “unpaid balance” from Overlook Ranch. This was for an exact amount that I had already paid, on time, with no issues, through Bilt, as instructed by the front office.

The office staff were really nice and the welcome folder was very helpful. The carpet and cleaning didn’t hit the mark, but was not a bad move in experience.

We really enjoyed our time here at Overlook Ranch. Location is perfect, no issues with parking, and amenities are great. Ran into a couple issues as we would have with any other complex. However, office staff was always really friendly, accommodating, and patient. Maintenance request are fulfilled quickly which was always appreciated. Had we not needed a bigger space we would have definitely stayed longer!

I'm surprised that the criteria for living there is a high credit score, especially considering the story about a man behaving inappropriately while another tenant was present. Perhaps it would be better to focus on criminal background checks rather than solely on credit checks. Alternatively, making determinations on a case-by-case basis could be a more effective. 😑 UPDATE: I emailed the business manager for clarification, and to my surprise, I received a response. The good news is that they will communicate with you. However, the bad news is that they don’t seem to take your situation seriously, which supports my theory. It appears there is no genuine effort to assist people; if you have a good credit score, you’re in; otherwise, you’re not! Living here has been the absolute best experience when it comes to staying in an apartment! All the leasing managers are very nice and helpful, especially big shout out to Lindsay! The upkeep of the property is hands down the best maintenance crew ever, another big shout out to Louis for the most incredible service! The area is quiet, clean and upcoming with lots of food options and shopping not far in the areas of Alliance! Did you know we also got an HEB not far! You would not be disappointed living here! Thank you to all the staff members here because it’s hard to find dedicated, kind, responsive, and respectful staff nowadays. You all make here feel like home❤️
