As the current Property Manager, I wanted to personally respond to your recent review and respectfully address the concerns you mentioned, as they occurred prior to my taking over the community. Since stepping into this role, my primary focus has been on improving safety measures, addressing maintenance concerns promptly, and fostering a more positive living environment for all residents. We have made noticeable improvements in cleanliness, maintenance response times, and overall community safety. While no community is ever perfect, it is important that information shared publicly reflects the current condition of the property so prospective residents can form a fair and accurate opinion based on how the community operates today. At this time, the concerns outlined in your review do not reflect the present conditions or management practices at Buena Vista. Additionally, as outlined in the TAA lease agreement you signed (pages 3–14, “When We May Enter Your Unit”), management is not required to provide prior notice or schedule an appointment before entering a unit under the terms stated in the lease. This will be my 3rd year of living here at Buena Vista apartments. In the past, some of the management and maintenance people were not very good. The new manager, Carmen, and her assistant are great!! I came in to renew with some questions and they were both very personable and helpful! I will be staying another year thanks to their help and kindness. The maintenance crew is the best that we have had here, yet! Bryce is so nice and helpful on answering any maintenance questions you have and getting things fixed properly and efficiently!! I greatly appreciate the office and maintenance staff here!! It makes a big difference knowing you have a really good staff behind you when needed!

I am thinking about relocating to the Fort Worth area and just calling around to different apartment complexes for information I called to Buena Vista Apartments and spoke with a lady by the name of Elimshia Bledsoe she was very helpful and knowledgeable about the amenities that this complex offers. She was very polite on the phone and answered every question I had for her and when moving to a complex the office staff is the face of the complex in my opinion and just by speaking with Mrs. Bledsoe over the phone this complex I may highly consider as my next home

I have been staying here at Buena Vista Apts, now for 2yrs, going on 3 yrs! I can honestly say that I love Carmen(Property Manager), Nesha(Asst. Property Manager) and Lt. Marshall!! This place is getting cleaned up, and is starting to look very good! We finally have another property manager like Ms. Dana, that isn’t afraid to do what’s necessary for us as tenants to feel safe! Last but not least, I’m so thankful for the new maintenance crew🤗I can say it with grace and happiness that inside our homes, things are getting fixed as we put in orders and quickly! Thank you Matt for putting in this dynamic duo team🤍🫶🏽🙏🏾I’m so happy to say our place we call home, you’ll love to call this your place home as well🩵🤗 come on in and ask for Carmen or Nesha, they’ll get you into what you want!

I read several reviews and I feel Buena Vista Apartments in Fort Worth, Texas on Sappington Place is the worst place I’ve experienced. There is a bug infestation they do nothing about it, they charge a monthly fee to spray for bugs, but they don’t do it. I complained nine times about my air conditioning not working and they either said it’s been fixed, but it hasn’t or they’re going to repair it and didn’t do it. This went on for several months until they finally replaced the air-conditioning unit. As a warning, they constantly sent out emails in text messages, complaining about loitering and criminal activity. A person was shot and killed while I was residing at this property. The management was not available after this homicide to help the police officers with their investigation. There’s constant criminal activity happening on the property. The CEO Matt and Vice Chair person Cathy with Harris Investment Group (the Owner) would not respond to several tenants’ complaints about the Management and conditions of the units. They supported the management (Angela) when her and the Maintenance personnel were not doing their job, harassing tenants and falsely accusing them doing stuff they weren't doing, including them knowing she was having an affair with the maintenance personnel and stealing from the company that ran the apartment complex. The most recent Manager (different from Angela) accused me of not having Renters Insurance and not having Electricity in my name which wasn't true, and threatened to evict me after being late paying the rent by two days. There's mold in the apartment painted over but didn't fix. BEWARE! They constantly send out threatening emails and text messages to all the tenants, and you'll need to pay the Post Office to replace the lock on your mailbox when you move in. The trash bin is not emptied for long periods of time, so the smell overwhelms the parking lot and complexes. The Management accusing the tenants of loitering if they're standing outside talking amongst each other. You can expect the Management to yell at you and be argumentative if you complain about anything and expect for them to harass you afterwards and find reasons to evict you. This place is beyond horrible. Once again, I read several reviews and read the so-called Owner’s responses, I don't believe their apologize, excuses, and saying they're devoted to fixing the issues is sincere. This place has constant problems they do nothing about. In other words, they say one thing but do another. ALL LIES.
