Broadstone on Trinity

I recently moved out of Broadstone on Trinity and was shocked to find unexpected charges on my final bill. Despite leaving the apartment in good condition, I was charged for repairs that I believe were unfair. They stated that my carpet needed to be replaced after move out. There was nothing wrong with the carpet other than indentions from furniture that had been there for over 2 years. Upon bringing this up to the appropriate person with Greystar they gave other excuses and can not provide proof. It felt like a money grab rather than a legitimate charge. I would advise potential renters to be cautious and thoroughly review their lease agreements before moving in. Overall, my experience was frustrating and disappointing.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this apartment complex, especially pet owners. During our final walkthrough, the office representative stated that she did not see any issues with the apartment other than normal furniture indentations in the carpet and that maintenance would take a final look. At no point during the walkthrough were we informed of any stains, carpet damage, or concerns that would require replacement. After moving out, we received a bill charging us for full carpet replacement due to alleged "pet urine stains." When I called to ask for clarification, I was told that the carpet is lifted in units where pets have lived and that stains were supposedly found underneath. However, despite multiple requests, management has been unable to provide any evidence supporting this claim—no photographs, inspection reports, or other documentation. The photos they provided actually show the carpet exactly as it appeared when we moved out. I can clearly identify the furniture indentations from where our furniture had been placed. What's concerning is that the photos themselves are labeled "carpet replacement," even though the images do not show any visible damage that would justify replacing the carpet. As a tenant, I expect transparency and documentation when being charged for significant expenses after move-out. In this case, I have not been provided with evidence supporting the charge despite requesting it. If you choose to rent here, I strongly recommend documenting the condition of your apartment thoroughly and taking detailed photos and videos during move-in and move-out. Based on my experience with the move-out process and billing practices, I cannot recommend this property.

DONT MOVE HERE!!! MOLD!! If I could give no stars I would. Don’t let the photos or the insta post fool you like it did me. This was my boyfriend and I first home together. We were wanting a safe, clean and understanding community. Before we even moved our stuff in I had talked to MANY people in the office trying to set up a walk through before we moved our stuff in. Kept switching days because the people who were moving out of “our” apartment kept extending their days which meant when it was finally time for them to move out (5 days before we moved in) they rushed everything. Spoke to the manager and she was very unprofessional to the point asking me if I knew what a lease was because they were paying day to day and decided to laugh in my face. Finally became one day before move in FINALLY were able to tour our apartment and it wasn’t the updated apartment we signed on. After many calls and text message the DAY OF OUR MOVE IN they finally gave us the apartment we were supposed to have. Lived in our apartment for a week and the toilet was cracked at the bottom, freezer was frozen and they had to melt, mold in our window. I have a pitty mix and when we placed work orders and put “please call to schedule” the maintenance decide when to come and decide they want to rush and do it on their time. Finally been living there for 6 months in our home we found MOLD EVERYWHERE!!! We have cleaning ladies who come and we pick up our home everyday. We cleaned it for the first time since our lease said we need to use soap and water but only on certain areas. Mold was in our fridge, light fixtures, windows, wall, cabinets, in our bathroom and the apartment sent out their people and wanted to tell us it was dirt… Parking garage signs say 5mph and residents go 35mph down and up and cause so much issues. I have gotten stuck in the elevator which by the way if you live on the 3rd or 4th floor.. GOOD LUCK because the elevators never work. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!

I used to live here and I must say, I MISS it!! The location is AMAZING! I most Definitely miss the maintenance team- Armando, Daniel and Jose! Never had to worry about a thing getting done. Not all maintenance teams are made the same!!!

Do not recommend. Additional fees keep getting added to your rent. Be cautious. Trash service here is $50
