The Tuscany At Mesa Hills

Don't let the beautiful exterior fool you. While this complex looks great from the street, living here was the most stressful and disappointing experience I’ve ever had with a rental. ​Management & Repairs: During my stay, management changed at least twice. I was promised essential repairs the day I moved in, but they weren't actually completed until my second year. Communication is non-existent; I even requested to upgrade to a larger unit to stay longer, which they acknowledged and then completely ignored. ​System Failures & Threats: Despite always paying my rent early, I was threatened with eviction on two separate occasions because their internal payment system glitched. Instead of working with a reliable tenant, they defaulted to threats for their own technical errors. ​The Security Deposit Ordeal: We moved out and left the unit in perfect condition. While they eventually agreed to a full refund, they made it nearly impossible to actually get our money. They issued a non-cashable check that forced us to open a new joint bank account just to access our own funds. It felt like a final deliberate hurdle to keep our money. ​Bottom line: This place is managed poorly and treats good tenants like an inconvenience. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

I’ve been living at Tuscany Apartments for several years, and I can honestly say the best thing that’s happened recently is having the previous maintenance team back — Andy and los Ramones. When they were gone, it could take one to two weeks to get even simple work orders done. Now, with them back, everything gets fixed quickly and efficiently. They are professional, friendly, and truly care about the residents. I’m very happy to see them here again, and I hope they stay for a long time!

Term : 2 Years - ongoing Unit : Spacious, Laundry room and gas stove. Private patio and balcony, garage. Maintenance : I haven't had major repairs or issues however anytime I would submit a request (normal wear/tear minor repairs) the problem was met timely, professionally and respectful. My most recent request was for my security panel and Andy stopped by to make the necessary repairs - always friendly and helpful to assure it's completed to my satisfaction. Review : Since the beginning, I was greeted with friendly office staff and guidance. Shortly afterwards, it seems the complex was purchased by new owners - a couple of changes with property management as well however the current management has proven to provide numerous updates to the complex. With anything, it takes time to make improvements but the communication, resident safety, codes, parking, events, incentives and community notifications have been outstanding! The team truly cares about the longevity of the complex. I am sure in time, they will plan for upgrades but I love where I am situated within the complex - it's quiet and everyone is neighborly. It seems the property management is getting more strict with pet owners picking up after their dogs since I have witnessed some that don't and it's frustrating especially when you're doing your own due diligence by maintaining cleanliness of the property. Maybe more signs should be posted or dog baggie stations? I do wish we had more night lighting on the buildings but maybe that's in the works too. It's nice to go on late evening walks or early a.m. jogs but some areas around here are so dark. I cannot speak about the amenities; pool or gym as I have yet to use these facilities. I've walked by and they are well maintained. I'm not sure if the USPS are responsible for updating the mailboxes or adding large lockbox for packages, but it would be ideal. I am happy to be a part of this community - I plan to extend my lease again as I find it comfortable here. Long term options would be a consideration too. Thank you for all that you do!

Such a beautiful community with great amenities. Fantastic location down the street for the mall, shopping and restaurants. It has a Little Italy feel to it. The townhomes are spacious with large garages attached. The property gives a sense of being in a home community were your neighbors are your friends.

Wish I had found this gem a long time ago. The apartments are classically styled, and everything I need all in one complex and apartment. Secure and well maintained. I have had a few things arise, and the staff from maintenance to management all took care of my issues on time. Please reach out to Kara and Brandon as they will give you amazing gave customer service. I have had some gorgeous homes but this by far is my favorite place.
