The Overlook Apartments

Pros: -Convenient location - In unit laundry (select units) -Private patio -Refrigerated air -Good price - 2 POOLS, but people dont respect it. They trash it and have parties after hours -Maintenance is great 👍 Cons: -The office is suppose to close at 5:30pm but they leave by 4pm or 4:30pm. -Neighbors dog barks alot and we can hear it through our bedroom windows. -The AC doesn't get turned on until March, but the complex lent us a temporary AC unit. So, that was good 👍 -Parking can be tight

I definitely lucked out finding these! Moved from out of the city, they were undergoing management changes and still my move was seamless m. I didn’t have electricity for the first 3 days- but that’s not 100% on them (at least the team now) as management, maintenance were new and swapping and it was hard to get a hold on anyone. Only reason why I don’t give full 5 stars. I used to feed an outside cat, and had a neighbor complain to the office, and the office team was very nice addressing it with me without being rude/threatening to evict. People complain about the parking costs now, But we’ve had no issues. It’s very rare when we find no parking. When office sends texts regarding pest control coming into apartments and I’m not going to be in and can’t because of my cat liking to go outside, they’re very understanding. I’ve been here 2+ years and can’t think of big issues. I would definitely recommend and wish I’d stayed longer if I wasn’t moving.

Apartments are a little dated but leasing office folks make.up for that. Excellent folks at the office and are quick to respond to work orders. Apartments themselves are old but are spacious and rent is reasonable for the area. Location is central for almost anything and you can get pretty much everything you need within 4.mile radius.

I have lived here for 2 and a half years since January 2021 and I absolutely love it here. It feels so cozy and I feel at home living here. Amazing views and the property staff and office employees are very friendly and helpful. I plan to live here for another couple of years. My only dilemma is that the rent has increased each year and I still have very old appliances in the kitchen. Other than that, this place is great!
