5th Street Commons is a convenient location and offers easy access to MoPac and downtown. It also has retail spaces on the first floor and is right next to the Mean Eyed Cat! The management has also just repainted the hallways and replaced the signage, which has definitely helped make the community feel more modern. I definitely recommend this community!

I absolutely love living at 5th Street Commons! The apartments are bright, modern, and impeccably maintained, and I truly feel at home here. The community amenities—like the courtyard, fitness center, and resident events—are top-notch and make everyday life feel special. A huge shout-out to Andrew, the community manager. Not only is he super responsive and helpful, but he also has the funniest jokes—definitely ask him to share some when you move in or stop by the office! His energy really lifts the whole vibe of the place. Living here has been such a pleasure—I couldn’t recommend it more!

DON’T LIVE HERE!!!! we lived for over 10 years in this building in almost every single unit and it got worse every year. There are lawsuits and there’s a reason why they have had masses leaving for the past two years. The building is dirty and unsafe. There are no cameras and especially the proper manager, he’s extremely rude. Fetch never delivers. Packages are stolen. Doors not locked and fobs some even work. That is why there are so many empty apartments. The hallways are disgusting. We had our truck broken into. Trash all over. Fobs don’t even work. Only the maintenance team is good. Brandon and team are amazing and they are being treated very poorly.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! I lived there for almost 12 years and just because I had to move out because it was impossible to live safely and happily. They have an exodus of people for the past two years. The building is disgusting, dirty, and they will break into your vehicle, your storage unit and your home. Listen staff is extremely rude. Specially the property manager. The only good people have always been the maintenance team.

Be warned if you are looking to move here. Your packages will be stolen because of the Fetch system that is used. Again and again. And maybe your car. Or it will be broken into. And management will not do a single thing. Despite many tenants asking for better security, the door fob entry system is broken most of the time, and there is a stairwell with no secure fob entry. So, people come and go and steal your packages and cars. We will not be renewing our lease again, as the thefts have become more frequent and management clearly doesn't care. The only reason there are two stars is because of the maintenance team. They are excellent and actually care about the residents. I have always had a positive experience with them and they work hard. I hope the high rent I pay here goes towards paying them well because they're the most valuable part of the team here.
