This property offers an affordable living option with well-maintained, updated, and furnished units, often including amenities like a pool and gym, making it a good value, especially given its convenient proximity to TWU and UNT. While the application process can sometimes be slow and communication with the office might be challenging at times, particularly regarding maintenance or billing, many residents appreciate the friendly and helpful staff and the quiet, secure community feel.

The rent is affordable compared to many other options, and the staff members are friendly, helpful, and willing to assist when needed. The apartment was clean when I moved in, and I have not had any issues with bed bugs or other cleanliness concerns. The pool, gym, and other amenities are great to have. I also like that the apartment comes fully furnished and includes stainless steel appliances and a walk-in closet. The main challenge was the application process. It was difficult to get in touch with the office by phone, which made it harder to keep track of the application status and required steps. They also spent extra time reviewing background, credits, and rental history (it took a month to get it through). However, once everything was finalized, the process became much smoother and living here has been a pleasant experience. Overall, I would recommend Vitae to anyone looking for affordable housing with good amenities and supportive staffs as long as you are patient with the application process. The team is small, so maintenance response times may vary, but I've found that communication helps. If you get assigned to the 4th floor, make sure the elevator and AC are working before you sign. They're usually great, but there can be some issues during big winter storms. But the view from the 4th floor is absolutely worth it.

it used to be a nice place to live. I don’t like living here anymore mainly because of the management.

I am not someone that typically writes reviews, but after I visited Vitae this morning, I feel obligated to share my experience. My boyfriend and I made an appointment for 9:30am for a tour and we got there on time. The manager, Alejandro, was making a phone call and we waited an entire 20 minutes before we were welcomed inside. He was made aware that we were there waiting for him, and he proceeded to take another phone call. I only know this because the volume was extremely loud and the entire clubhouse could hear it. I also want to note that he had a vape laying out on his desk. Additionally, I want to note that I read several recent reviews that claimed Alejandro was very friendly and welcoming. My experience was quite different. Even after waiting 20 minutes for our scheduled appointment, Alejandro was not apologetic. Instead of being met with hospitality, we were met with rudeness. Alejandro was very short and carried a matter-of-fact tone with both of us throughout our visit. This is definitely not how you want to be treated after your time is disrespected. The model unit was extremely disgusting. There were holes in the window screens, and most surfaces, floors, and baseboards were disgusting. A drawer was missing from the bathroom cabinets and the couch was run-down with threads hanging off. If this is how they upkeep their model unit, how do you think the actual units are maintained? Save your time if you are considering Vitae.
