I use to live here right when Covid started. It was so affordable. I remember never struggling to make rent and actually being able to eat and live. I had an air unit from my other apartment. Which I didn’t use here. So I gave it to my family. We even got a bit of our security deposit back. This place always treated us kindly. Always notified us in advance. They also had bundles with internet. I miss living here all the time. They also didn’t increase there prices as much as other places do.

Place is horrible. I lived here for 3 years 2021-2024. They have roaches. They pick and choose who they wanna charge on extra stuff like dog poop. They take the rent up every year and put cheap appliances in the apartments. They can say they don’t discriminate but if you’re Asian or Chinese they’re picking you first then they’re choosing money next. They don’t care about anything but the money. They do NOT PUT IN NEW CARPET after renters move out. That’s why some units will be upgraded and some won’t. They’re offering 2 months for $99 because they NEED the money. It always smell like POOP OUTSIDE ALL THE TIME BECAUSE THEY HAVE SEWAGE ISSUES. People had to move into other units because of pipes busting above kitchens and below the units. The water gets turned off every 2 weeks for hours like 10 am to 3pm on a random day out the week.

The Studio Place Apartments needs to be held accountable regarding several serious concerns, including ongoing violence and safety threats, discriminatory treatment during our application process, and inconsistent enforcement of community policies. Ongoing Violence and Safety Concerns: My boyfriend, who is on the lease, has been the target of escalating threats and violence from individuals who have frequented the apartment complex since the summer of this year. The situation culminated on November 29th with an incident of violence and vandalism. These individuals have made multiple threats to return, putting us and the apartment complex at continued risk. Despite the severity of this situation, the management has refused to let us terminate our lease early, even though they have footage of the evidence. Instead, they have dismissed our concerns and referenced unofficial articles to justify their position. Then implied we were lying about the situation… Discriminatory Treatment During the Application Process: When we initially applied for this apartment two years ago, we were informed we were approved and prepared to pay the deposit. However, on the day of approval, the management notified us that another potential tenant, who had not yet completed their application, would be given the apartment if approved before us. I left work early to pay the deposit and arrived to see the other applicants actively filling out their applications, which had not yet been submitted. Despite having the deposit payment ready, management gave preference to the other applicants. My boyfriend and I are Black, and the other applicants were Asian. While I cannot confirm the decision was racially motivated, it felt unjust and discriminatory. This delay forced us to incur additional costs due to a gap between our move-out and move-in dates. I would have reported this sooner, but I did not want to be targeted. Unequal Enforcement of Pet Waste Policies: The apartment management has also demonstrated inconsistent enforcement of its pet waste policy. I have sent multiple emails regarding the accumulation of dog feces in front of our unit, and management has failed to address the issue adequately. In their most recent response, they attributed the lack of enforcement to an office employee being unavailable, stating that the policy could not be upheld as usual. However, we have been fined when our dog's waste was not picked up, while other residents face no consequences. This selective enforcement is not only unfair but also violates the principle of equal treatment.

My wife and I used to live in these apartments back in 2017. We were here for about 3 years. The rent was affordable, the apartments were a great size & the service was above par. They're pet friendly. We have very fond memories of our time at The Studio Place. We had picnics, cookouts, and pool time in the summer. Nightly walks and nearby walks at the nearby park. Berdi & Toni, & Leo were super helpful and accommodating. They gave us a chance at our first home for our starting family. We definitely would recommend The Studio Place.

I have loved living here for the past three years. Every time I have a problem, such as a maintenance need or a conflict with a neighbor, they are very quick to help. I have never had to wait for more than 24 hours on even the most basic repairs. My favorite part is that there are no breed, size, or quantity restrictions for friendly pets. I've been allowed and welcomed to have all of my dogs and reptiles. The walls are thick and it's hard to hear the neighbors. The only downside I have is the lack of grass in the pet areas and the frequent steps and ramps required to navigate the hilly area. I would not recommend living here except for a few very specific units for people with mobility difficult such as weakness or wheelchair users.
