The Retreat At Denton

I was looking at the leasing application. They only thing residents here don’t pay for is the air they breathe… Very ridiculous charges Parking fee- All residents must pay a one time parking fee whether you own a car or not….. very disturbing.. Trash pick up feee Package delivery fee Activity fee ( gym, computers at the leasing office, study room, and other unnecessary activities) Transfer fee.. very very ridiculous Despite filling the application, you’re not guaranteed placement of your choice… 3 Residents I interviewed said they paid to clean the house when they move in. They were placed in a dirty house.. Apart from your rent, you’re liable for all utility bills excluding the ridiculous charges I listed above..

i’ve been living in the retreat for 2 years now and they have been nothing but amazing! the staff are super friendly and they make sure to cater to their residents! i could not have chosen a better student living than the retreat at denton, 10/10 definitely recommend!

I love the retreat so much! Management and staff are very nice and accommodating, especially Shawn! Would recommend to any students looking for an affordable place that also looks great!

I’ve been waiting a long time to move into The Retreat, and it was definitely worth it! From the moment I arrived, I could tell this place lived up to the hype. The community feels safe and welcoming, the amenities are well-maintained, and the staff is friendly, responsive, and genuinely cares about residents. My apartment is modern, clean, and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere makes it feel like home. Couldn’t be happier to finally be here!

I’ve lived here for the last year and I honestly like it a lot! The staff and management were always very helpful and kind. The amenities are wonderful and the pool area is honestly such a nice bonus. I personally had no bug issues and hardly any mantinance issues. When i did need something though it usually got fixed and tended to very quickly. However, one of the major issues here is the wifi. The wifi went out many times this year and the wifi in our unit hardly ever worked. If the wifi was fixed across the complex this place would be pretty close to perfect.
