I truly appreciate the sense of belonging that comes with being part of this vibrant community. The thoughtful design of the apartment complex fosters a welcoming atmosphere, and the amenities provided are top-notch, enhancing our daily lives.

I lived here for two years with my fiancé and I have to say, we were very happy here. It felt safe and convenient. The maintenance crew WAS AMAZING and were always quick and helpful. The only con was the lack of security concerns, the gates/fences were always open, my bike once got stolen, many resident were breaking the rules and having their dogs run around without a leash, and of course the occasional smell of the dump (but lol what are they gonna do?). Other than that great place and we totally recommend :)

Living at Elan Denton has been one of the most frustrating rental experiences we’ve had. Due to a mistake we made, two college students forgetting to give a 60-day move-out notice, we were forced to stay an additional month and pay an extra $175 just to extend. Yes, we messed up the timing, but when they make mistakes, all you get is a hollow “sorry for the inconvenience.” There’s clearly a double standard here, and it reflects poorly on how they treat their residents. This place nickel-and-dimes you constantly. They charge for pest control that never actually happens, and their “package concierge” is a joke unless you only get tiny items. Larger deliveries are a hassle, and good luck getting any real help. There are ethical concerns with how they run things. No parking is ever available, the gate has been broken since we moved in, and nothing ever gets properly resolved. This feels like a textbook example of a scamming business model, squeeze every dollar out of residents while providing the bare minimum in return. Avoid if you value fairness, transparency, or even basic amenities. After official move out, I’ll update if they try to charge for more non-sense.

You get to smell the waste almost everyday. Delivering packages is a nightmare. Everything in the apartment is cheaply made and the walls were cracking. Walls are extremely thin. I could literally hear the people next door to me sneeze. They allow section. 8. Trash. Far from the “luxury” they claim. They charged me $1,700 when I moved out on things that were outrageous and were there when we moved in. I had to fight it for weeks and they ended up owing me $150 after trying to get me to pay them $1,700. What a joke.

Literally nothing but issues with this complex after moving out, moved out August 22 and just now today February 29, have finally gotten a response about my deposit. They don’t tell you when they move in nor does the least state anywhere that they will charge you for cleaning and painting regardless of house spotless you leave the apartment. This is predatory And ILLEGAL practices, And I made sure that the complex knew about this. Not only did they take my security deposit, they also tried to charge me for damages That did not occur. After several months of fighting back-and-forth, and hearing no word from anybody, they now have still kept my security deposit and have changed the charges to $13 owed. I’m so tired of fighting this complex, so I just paid it but I’m leaving this review for others to definitely reconsider This complex as a future home. Towards the end of our lease, The grounds were completely filthy. All of the time, there was always something breaking in our apartment, Cigarette butts being thrown out, there was absolutely no landscaping going on so grass and bushes were huge and unsightly for the $1700+ I paid a MONTH for a ONE bedroom. There was constantly parties being thrown in the common area, and the pool till past two in the morning despite there being a “curfew” And the gate Was broken more than it was ever working. Don’t forget to mention that the smell in the summertime of the Denton dump is absolutely awful, and since there are no restrictions on people cleaning up After their pets, the patios that are on the first floor were absolutely littered in dog feces that ended up molding because residents did not clean up after their animals, and the smell was so terrible that I couldn’t get out of my car without almost throwing up. This community seems upfront, but in reality it was really disappointing of an experience, and even worse moving out of it. The company did not care to make anything better, they really don’t care about their reputation, which is totally OK, but I will not be recommending this place to anybody.
