Denton North Apartments

I lived there for a year and after i left , they asked me extra 500 for nttg in the name of cleaning which i had already done from my end I would suggest no1 to rent in that apartments

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. PLEASE READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I moved in I had roaches, fan didn’t work, very little water pressure in the shower and light in the living room didn’t work. It was like pulling teeth to get any of these issues resolved especially when it came to the roaches. The property manager said that I can leave, which I did because who wants to deal with all that when they continually act like they don’t care. The property manager said she wouldn’t rent out the apartment to someone else until the issue of the roaches were resolved. Hmmmmm that’s a lie because when I spoke to my neighbor she said the last renter in my apartment left for the same reason as I did, would that make anyone think that she wouldn’t rent to someone else? Ummm of course she will, it’s all about the money. I’ve NEVER had such a HORRIBLE experience in my entire life and this was beyond what words can describe. PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!! It’s probably cheaper than most places, but you get what you pay for.

This is the worst place I have ever lived. Kids playing in the playground at 1 am in the morning and playing around the cars and breaking review mirrors on my car. Kids are riding 4 wheelers through the apartments at night time. Kids are not control by there parents. They tear up the landscaping and throwing sticks are cars bushes and people who are walking by. Loud music playing all hours of the night. Efficiencies are small no counter space to put any thing in the kitchen. Lighting in the kitchen block two of the four place to dishes cannot be used because they don’t open. There no schedule appointments to have pest control come in every once in a while to take of the bugs (roaches) and spiders. Most apartments come in annually to spray. The apartment is supposed to care the out side and have not taking care of anything. My paint on my outside is not pretty it been like this for two years. Also there cars that are not maintained- flat tires and car been accident sitting over a year. There also Mexican parting in there cars that has not moved for over a year. Leaving the parking lot as there litter box. Bird in the spring time are horrible. The small place I can sit out side is swimming in bird shit. Swimming pool is always filled with just kids. No parents monitor them and seeing bulling in the pool. Also they raise the rent so high in three years. When I first three years ago I just paying 550 a month with only pay garbage and water. Now I paying 911 plus water gas and garbage fees. There also only one option for cable and internet and electricity company used. Also seeing my electric bill was also given to the apartment by the city of Denton electric. I thought what I pay with electric company is private. I put couple of photos of car that have not moved over a year. Here is Denton city Noise Ordinance prohibiting loud noise at night. Sunday say not at all. Today is 08/17/2024 Been calling all week because my air conditioner is not running right. Never fixed it Now the air is completely out and called the phone to have emergency maintenance to come out. And you know the employee told me he not coming to fix it. Today is 11/18/2024 loud music is still going on. These other issues with the office.Holy like interrupt me when I am trying to talk. When I try resolve a issue. New office lady charged me when I exiting the office. Now I feel unsafe when I need to go and pay my rent. Recommend don’t live here you will regret it.

Terrible conditions! Roaches & bedbugs everywhere ,They should be paying YOU to live here. If you’re between 18-25 or have a family I recommend else where honestly most people here are on section 8 or housing; I wouldn’t pay full price for these at all. These aren’t the conditions you would want your family to live with. The ladies in the office are okay but don’t really communicate with each other, you call and talk to someone about something then another day you call back and ask about the situation the next person has no clue what you’re talking about.👎

In college this is my first apt. I've been here 9 months. I was pleased. I don't have any pest complaints. My neighbors are fine. There are noisy kids that play at the playground but I've gotten used to it. The staff was always nice although they're not open on the weekends. Laundry machines are ok. Ample parking. I would recommend the apartments as long as you have descent neighbors
