Uptown at Cole Park

Flew into Dallas to rent two apartments. Leasing office was closed at my appointment time. Their click sign indicated they would return 35 minutes after our scheduled meeting. Called the office no answer. I could see people in the office. I can only assume this is indicative of how management operates. Left without anyone averse addressing us. On to the next appointment at another property. I helped myself to a triple espresso via their coffee machine. That was the only good thing I can say.

Looking for a nice luxurious uptown apartment home???? Uptown @ Cole Park is absolutely stunning! Their leasing agent Jessica is nothing less than amazing. Went in to see a client and my wait was beyond impressive not to mention the many conveniences of Downtown Dallas at lengths way from their location. I wasn't even looking and now rethinking my options.

We really miss Jennifer. Ever since she left, things have been disorganized downstairs. Supplies are rarely stocked, questions often go unanswered, and there’s a lack of consistency overall. Jennifer was always on top of everything—she made sure the area was set each morning, kept the coffee machines running, and greeted everyone who walked in. Her work ethic and professionalism were unmatched. I love living here and appreciate how quiet the community is, but I truly miss having staff who took pride in the services and amenities provided in the lobby.

Great location. Close to Cole Park which is great. Many restaurants and coffee shops are at a walking distance. Easy access to expressways. However, I wouldn’t recommend it if other options are available. The apt I got has many imperfections. The kitchen counter is uneven, causing water to drip. Your packages are stored in lockers that are managed by an external company (which keeps spamming your email with ads) which does not even have the authority to hold your package for extra days. I was on vacation and had to reach out to a friend to pick up a package. Also be aware of the contract. I tried to move internally to a bigger apartment and they said you need to give 60 days notice plus pay 1 extra month (2 extra months if you move out) and you have to renew the contract. Other places only charge a moving fee if you do it internally. They also charge a mandatory trash collection fee $30 and a Trash Admin fee (for what? Paying the bill? I do not get it). Besides, this creates a problem. People take out their trash outside of pick up hours. Not very pleasant with the smell and looks of the hallway on a Sunday. Maintenance is great. They are quick to fix your issues when you open a ticket. However, you have to follow up on emails to the leasing office since they don’t always acknowledge your emails (I sent an email regarding the trash issue and never got a response). In short, if the price is right, it’s a great location. Just make sure you are aware of all the details. Almost forgot, you even have to pay a fee for electronic check payments (never heard of this before) and your email will get spammed by so many 3rd party companies that if I knew, I would’ve given them another email.

Jennifer Gutierrez immediately responded to helping me find an available apartment and picked the apartment for me that fit all of my needs and wishes. Every step of the leasing process was perfect. Jennifer is kind and very experienced in handling all aspects of acquiring a new apartment. I have four grown children and many leases during their moves with college and this has been the very best experience I have ever had. The apartment and the amenities of the building are incredible! It is quite and all of the spaces are clean and inviting. We love the dog runs and the dog washing station. Thank you for the welcome gifts and wine when we arrived our first day to the new apartment. The parking garage is safe and clean! You have put so much attention into a wonderful apartment community and I am so grateful. A huge thank you to Jennifer for working so fast to get us settled into our new apartment in record timing. Uptown is so lucky to have Jennifer leading their community to take care of their residents. We are absolutely thrilled with the apartment!!!
