The Paxton Apartments

Edit on recent review after being here for 8 months: I’ve never had issues with maintenance or management as they are all super friendly and helpful. The only issue is just how these apartments were built. They are very expensive to be in the neighborhood it is in and the walls are paper thin. My upstairs neighbors constantly walk and do whatever they are doing all night making it hard for me and my children to stay asleep and have good rest. I eventually have to put my AirPods in to tune out the conversations and back and forth walking/stomping they do upstairs. I recently signed my lease about 2 weeks ago and it’s the worst decision I have made. I haven’t spent not even one night there since signing my lease. The unit was given to me INFESTED. When I walked into my apartment maintenance was still working in the unit and had roach spray with him trying to kill the visible ones before I walked in. They know the units are infested and choose to rent them out anyways without bombing it or doing anything about it first. Roaches crawling all over the walls, floors, falling from the ceiling. This is the worst place I have ever rented at. The inside layout is pretty but not worth the price and extra fees especially when you sharing it with ROACHES. The office seems nice and friendly but to rent out a unit to someone knowing it is not livable is shady and scammy. I have a 5 and 7 year old and haven’t even moved our things in just because the bugs just won’t go away. They eventually went the next day after signing my lease to bomb the apartment and removed my refrigerator and stove but it was pointless bc it has not resolved anything and I started buying things myself to try to fix the issue. If you want a peaceful and clean place to live in then this is not the place.

Everyone in the office is nice and friendly helpful willing to answer any questions that you have. Cassandra the leasing agent is amazing. I came here to leas a apartment and decided to leas somewhere else and was not able to leas at the other complex. I regretted not leasing here in the first place and came back to see if there were still any apartments available and Cassandra was able to get us moved in quickly. Thanks Cassandra and to everyone in the office for helping us get moved in so quickly.

Well let me start off by saying that my experience started off very poorly because of missed information, not taking accountability of what I was looking for and needed, but let me tell you that the manager Royissa ( amazing manager, she cares about her property and the residents) did what a manager is suppose to do and made things right, made sure we got what we first came in looking for, she was honest and straightforward about everything, how long it would take etc. It ended up being a great experience, we are happy with our moving in, the apartment we got was perfect, over all I would highly recommend anyone looking for comfort, space, and all the amenities look no further check out The Paxton, and let them help you get into your next home. I absolutely love The Paxton. The property is maintained very well. It’s been super hot so I’ve been enjoying the pool a lot here recently. Not only that the office staff is amazing super helpful honest and straightforward. They definitely made my process super easy. But most importantly fast. Thank you to the ladies at The Paxton!

Roaches and bugs are out of control. Unit is nothing like model unit shown. Water is inconsistent. Must pay $4 for visitor parking or your guest will be towed. Update: Bugs and roaches out of control. Apartment refuses to let me move to new unit or resolve lease. This has been the worst living experience I have ever been through.
