Awesome complex! Moved from down the street on Garrett out of a complex that took a turn for the worse, & was able to get in a unit i liked super fast. Appliances are up to date and the complex is secure and solid. Stoked to be here & expect nothing but great things from the complex, managers & its community! Shoutout to Patti & Reihaneh.

Location great. I didn’t give a 5 star due to nothing is perfect. Definitely quiet. I just renewed my 4th year. Maintenance orders are always done in a timely manner. No complaints.

Do not move here. There are RATS everywhere!!! You can literally hear them in the ceilings at all hours of the day. The apartments do absolutely nothing about it. You will see them everywhere and no one seems to care. No one paying rent should have to worry about hearing rats day and night and seeing them run through the halls. Do not move here. You will regret it

I recently moved to Dallas, Texas from South FL looking for a fresh start. I choose The Eastern because it’s close to Downtown Dallas, Lower Greenville and many accessible restaurants and bars. These affordable updated apartments are perfect for anyone that is looking for a quiet, clean and cozy place. I was skeptical at first as a single female and reading some negative reviews but I am glad I choose The Eastern. The on-site manager Reihaneh goes above and beyond! Maintenance is also extremely responsive. I feel very welcomed here and safe.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I’ve been living at the Eastern Apartments since March and my experience has turned for the worst! When I first moved I was really excited about the cute space! It matched my aesthetic perfectly and loved how quaint the complex was, however I had no idea that mold was an issue, and obviously has been since they opened, but one wouldn’t know since they spot treated the issue instead of tackling it completely! I have mold growing in multiple areas in my unit and management has not been honest about the outbreak! Not to mention outside of the massive mold outbreak, maintenance never completes a job! My keyless keypad went dead and maintenance couldn’t even charge the keypad to let me in! This resulted in having to cut a hole in my actual door , and they have yet to fully complete this job. I had to call the emergency maintenance line multiple times to get someone to help me! What’s the point of an emergency line if you’re not going to treat the issue like an emergency. I arrived home that day at 3pm and I wasn’t able to get into my apartment until almost 9pm! The foundation of this place is horrible! None of the doors close properly, and maintenance has taken my door off and left it outside. It has rained and the door till this day is still sitting outside! My AC unit was apparently fixed however it’s still leaking, and now I have a wet spot which will eventually cause mold to grow! The gate is always broken and the doors never work! I’ve had to relocate to a hotel and a friend’s home since I can’t live in the unit that I’m paying rent for…. We can’t get answers since the office is barely opened when it’s suppose to be! Management will promise you answers and will never come through with them..Something needs to be done about this place asap!
