The apartment itself was fine, and the maintenance guys were honestly great â always responsive and helpful while I lived there. But the move-out process was really frustrating and left a bad impression overall. They initially tried to charge me for things that were either normal wear and tear or didnât even seem to be from my unit, including photos that didnât match my apartment. After I pushed back, they did correct some of it and sent the actual photo of minor bite marks from my dog, which I acknowledged. Still, the way it was handled felt excessive for what was clearly very minor, cosmetic damage. They also tried to charge for carpet issues that looked like normal use over time, and only removed that charge after I disputed it. On top of that, I had already paid a $300 non-refundable pet fee, which apparently doesnât apply to any actual pet-related damage, so you can still end up paying more anyway. Overall, living there was okay, but the move-out process felt unnecessarily stressful and like they were trying to squeeze extra charges wherever possible. Iâd recommend taking detailed photos and documenting everything carefully if you rent here.
