A Total Nightmare for Families: Noise, Gunshots, and Zero Security If you value your sleep or your safety, stay away from The Brownstones. Between the management's ego and the constant danger, this place is a disaster. Loud, revving engines and screeching tires at all hours of the night. It is a regular occurrence here. The "gated community" title is a complete lie. The gates are strictly for show. management even admits this and makes sure it’s in the contract so they aren't liable.

This place is horrible and the manager Christine is a terrible ,disrespectful, rude lady. She will lie to your face and when confronted about the things she said she would get fixed, she will get angry and kick you out of the office claiming there’s no corporate and she is corporate. I have her on video. All she want is the rent for these roach infested townhomes. maintenance is a joke. Stay far away and my name is Natouya. I moved in Nov 2025 and I moved out Jan 11 2026. Don’t let her lie to you because she will try to go back and forth with you and apologize later about the lies she told. I had to stuff a shirt in the ceiling because it had a bad leak. Apt 332

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. First of all, it's old and in poor condition, and you can see it in the state of the house. The drains in the bathroom sinks are disgusting; worms come out of them. The house has a terrible cockroach infestation, and the air conditioning ducts have a type of mold that is worrying. And the worst part is that if you go and complain, the main manager treats you with a bad attitude and doesn't help you. I have proof of everything, and they don't care at all. They only care about issuing fines for anything, like taking out the trash at a time they deem inappropriate, and they don't care about the tenant's well-being. They deceive you; they show you a different house than the one they give you. I've lived in many condominiums, but this is the worst experience I've ever had. I've asked them to terminate my lease, and reluctantly, they're asking me for $8,000, which I really shouldn't have to pay because I don't want to leave because I want to, but because this apartment is uninhabitable—everything is broken and patched up, and the cockroaches make it impossible to live here. Don't come to live here.

I would not recommend living here unless you absolutely have to for whatever reason. The quality of the homes (inside, finishes, paint, etc.) are below average and older, and not a lot of care or detail goes into them. For example, the people that painted the trim in my bathroom just painted the lower part of the white wall that color too, and no one ever went back and fixed the white wall. The garage doors haven’t been repaired or replaced after being ran into so they are dented and go up/down inefficiently and very loudly. Doors don’t completely latch close unless locked. Tenants are allowed to live however they please. No one picks up after their dog, tons of tenants don’t leash their dog, trash is left out in the heat for days at a time or overnight so animals get into it, people speed and drive recklessly through an already tight space, people drive the wrong way through the entrance, people drive enter through the exit only, gunshots AND fireworks go off all the time, motorcycles are revved at all hours of the night. You can report all of these things to the leasing office and all they do is send out a community wide email, if that. No one is held accountable to things that actually matter. Every now and then, an email will go out to the community saying “the owners” drove through the property and here’s what they found unacceptable: then list rules being broken such as damaged cars being visible, lights being on balconies, or decorations being seen in window sills. This complex cares more about its optics than its actual tenants. Thats apparent in not only these situations, but you also get towed if your vehicle has visible damage. Only “pretty” cars allowed to be seen on the property…….yet I have to sleep by my fireplace in the winter and have to buy a million fans in the summer. A joke. The team in the leasing office has had complete turnover since I moved in a year ago. Literally every single leasing agent and property manager is different now than a year ago. The previous management team was incompetent and the current management team is only slightly less competent. Anthony and Andrea are the only ones who are nice and easy to communicate/work with. The first time I’ve heard from the current property manager, Kiedra, was actually this morning when she left me a voicemail to issue me a lease violation for “candles and books visible in the downstairs bedroom window sill.” She claimed her “owners” have requested for me to remove them multiple times, even though I haven’t heard from the owners once since living here. I actually reached out to the owners of Fath Properties in February when I was extremely unsatisfied and disappointed in the Brownstones’ handling of a gnat/fly infestation in my apartment while I was gone for work. Fath properties, both the ceo and manager of the region for my complex, never even responded to my email. Only after me sending multiple others did I finally but barely get a response. Besides Anthony and Andrea, there is another positive at the Brownstones: the maintenance crew. Every single one of those men are angels. They work incredibly hard every single day, are incredibly sweet and kind, and will go out of their way to interact with tenants positively, like Andrea does during tenant events. You also get zero amenities at the Brownstones. Parking is basically secluded to your garage. Even visitor parking is far and few between and only on one side of the complex. This is not what I would call a dog friendly complex, yet there’s a million dogs living here. No sidewalks in the complex, so you have to mostly walk in front of cars, plus they don’t enforce safe driving. Barely any dog waste bins, yet they’ll send out complaints about picking up after animals. There is also zero dog park. There is a gym smaller than your apartment’s bedroom and it has a cable machine and a treadmill, maybe. The pool is a tiny square, that’s always shaded by trees. All the girls in the complex fight for these two lounge chairs by the pool because they are the only two that get sun.

This place is despicable. The place is run by absolute scum. Disgusting human beings. We are homeless and it was 96 degrees outside. My pet yorkie is 16 years old and we needed shelter so we stayed in one of there vacants. We left to run an errand and we return to find the unit was locked and there were two hand written notes stating "stay away" "dog in shelter". We contacted every single shelter in DFW and there is no sign of my dog anywhere. We cleaned the apartment from top to bottom.....left it in way better condition then what we found it in. They called the police on us and accused us of "breaking" in. They stole my dog. He is my baby. My heart is shattered. Im contacting the media and I am going to make sure that these people pay for what they have done. Mark my words !!!!
