I rarely leave negative reviews, but this issue has become impossible to ignore. I currently live on this property for 1 year and 3 months. I am on my second lease and have never been late, unruly or non-complaint in any way. I am and have always been an upstanding tenant. However, this property’s handling of renters insurance compliance has been extremely frustrating. There appears to be an ongoing issue between management and their third-party renter’s insurance provider that is resulting in residents being repeatedly charged non-compliance fees despite maintaining valid coverage. What makes this worse is that there seems to be no clear resolution process. Residents are being redirected back and forth between the insurance provider and the property’s accounting department with no accountability and no meaningful follow-up. Documentation is provided, yet the fees continue to appear. One minute you are in compliance, and you receive an email from their 3rd party saying, “We have reviewed and approved your uploaded renter’s insurance policy for the community The Brownstones.” Please see their email response below and pay close attention to the dates this on is 4/15/26. The fees are then removed only to reappear 2 months later. I was asked by the leasing staff to resubmit the same documents and now I receive” We have reviewed and rejected your uploaded renter’s insurance policy for the community The Brownstones. Pay close attention to the date this is now 6/1/26. Now their Accounting does not want to remove the fees which I am never paying as I have always been in compliance. With that said if you want to have to continuously go back and forth trying to remove unsubstantiated fees this is the place for you. However, in this day and time with the cost of everything at and all time high I am not willing to just arbitrarily give my hard earn money to any unjust fees.

The current management staff is NOT attentive to the needs of residents. I have had standing water in my tub for over a week without any resolution.
