Update 6/10/26 - They are renovating a lot of areas in and outside the building. Construction noise starts at 5:30 am, 7 am or 8 am and goes on all day. Management claims they are not "supposed to" start until 9 am, but they've been doing it for months. The building has very poor noise isolation. I can hear every time my neighbor gets on the phone or flushes their toilet. You also get a lot of traffic (during and before construction) in the valet circle at all hours. If you want good night sleep or you work for home, you probably won't be able to do it here. This construction is probably going to last all summer, but even when it ends they'll start individually renovating units in the building, so there will be construction noise for many months to come. The new owners took away free coffee (now they count how many free cups you get per month), installed a shoddy security system (be prepared to have double or triple fob to move around the building), started charging all kinds of fees we didn't have before, and replaced pool furniture with low-end, cheap stuff. We also now have no shade at the pool. The California corporation that bought the building in early 2026, took greed to another level. They are so incredibly cheap. Don't expect to be treated as anything but a walking wallet.

Better than I thought it would be

I've lived here for three years. Witnessing how this building was bought out by a soulless real estate group has been frustrating and sad to say the least. The building was beautiful, but now my summer is going to be filled jack hammering. They have decided, with about a week notice, to rip out the entire court yard, during SUMMER, when people want to be outside. They are also ripping out all the amenities. So my rent is going towards being miserable. It is a disgrace. I would not move here if you are looking for peace and quiet.

We haven’t leased here yet, but after touring, we’ve had such a positive experience so far! Sophie has been incredibly helpful, kind, and easy to work with—she’s made the process seamless and enjoyable.
