Really enjoy living here. All the neighbors are friendly. Areas are always kept clean. Every now and then they do little events so that’s a nice perk for residents. Pools are always clean so love that. As a girl it doesn’t feel unsafe to live here. The leasing office is always so nice and friendly especially with how much I’m in there with all my questions they are so patient. Would definitely recommend living here

I’ve had a great experience living at the Avery apartment complex. The staff is consistently helpful, professional, and responsive. De’anza and Aixsia, in particular, have been outstanding. They take the time to address concerns, answer questions clearly, and make the entire process easy and stress-free. The community is well maintained, and it’s clear the staff genuinely cares about residents. I appreciate the level of service and support provided and would definitely recommend this apartment complex to others looking for a positive living experience.

I’ve had a great experience living at The Avery, and a huge part of that is the in-office team, especially De’Anza. From day one, DeAnza has been professional, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. Any question or concern I’ve had was handled promptly and with genuine care, which makes a big difference when choosing a place to call home. The office team overall is organized, approachable, and truly invested in creating a positive living experience for residents. You can tell they take pride in the community they manage. I stayed here for 3 years now & highly recommend the property.

Living at the Avery on Southwestern has been nothing but the best experience. Everyone at the leasing office is so great. I’ve lived here for almost 2 years now and have not had a single complaint about this place. Maintenance is always very prompt with any service request, the leasing office works with you on any issues you may have. I specifically want to shout out De’Anza Coleman for always being so kind and prompt with any questions I may have. Truly everyone here at the office is amazing.

I’ve lived in this community for a while now, and I want to give a genuine perspective for anyone considering moving here—especially because many of the 5-star reviews seem to come from people who only toured the property, not actual residents. 1. Crime is a serious and ongoing issue. Packages are frequently stolen, garages and storage units have been broken into, and even the mailroom mailboxes were compromised. There were rumors that someone with a master USPS mailbox key lives on-site, which is extremely concerning. For what you pay, the level of security is nowhere near acceptable. 2. The property is very noisy. Southwestern Blvd is extremely busy, and you hear traffic constantly. On top of that, some residents blast car speakers at all hours. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place. 3. The gates are almost always broken. They’re advertised as a security measure, but they rarely function properly—again adding to the safety concerns. 4. Constant disruptions and overwhelming communication. There is a nonstop flow of emails about construction projects: roof replacements (with loud banging and nails left everywhere), painting, shifting parking restrictions (“don’t park here or we will tow you”), and more. On top of that, the property recently had to redo all of the fire alarms in the buildings to meet city code, meaning repeated entry into apartments. Keeping track of what’s happening on any given day is exhausting. None of this was mentioned during my tour. 5. Maintenance is inconsistent at best. I’ve submitted multiple maintenance requests for the same issues, only to have tickets closed out without explanation and problems still unresolved. Overall: Living here has been far more stressful than expected. Between the crime, noise, and constant disruptions, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before moving in. I wish I had known these issues beforehand.
