I have lived in Magnolia on Gilbert for just over six months now. The location is great, the building fairly new and well-maintained, and the appliances are excellent (huge fridge and washer/dryer). The maintenance team is extremely professional and responsive - no delays or excuses in my experience. They take care of issues very quickly and are super-friendly. The building manager Efren is great to work with and takes care of issues quickly and professionally. It's a really nice place to live - Oak Lawn is an excellent neighborhood, and I love being so near the Katy Trail and Turtle Creek. I walk to Trader Joe's or Whole Foods a few times a week for light shopping. The Tom Thumb and a CVS are even closer - there's no need for me to drive to do almost all of my shopping.

A lot of bikes were stolen from the bike room, because the lock to the room wasn't working right. Also, the camera in the bike room doesn't even work. It is very expensive for having no gym or pool. The gate to the parking lot is constantly breaking. The management is nice and responsive, the walls are super thick, so you can't hear anyone. They are very responsive when it comes to maintenance. Issues usually are fixed within a day or two. Overall, it is a nice place to live, I've enjoyed it. There are just a couple of problems. I can't stress enough how nice the management has been.

Magnolia on Gilbert is a charming complex nestled in a great neighborhood! It’s one of the more affordable complexes in the area. What it lacks in amenities, it makes up for in customer service. The management team is always responsive and communicates clearly, Maintenance requests are addressed quickly, issues are resolved in no time.

Truly a great place to live. Location is incredible, easy access to everything. I enjoy that we don’t have to drive endlessly through a garage since the parking for the building is on ground level. The property manager Efren is super responsive and attentive, easy to get a hold of. The hallways are always clean and smells good. Highly recommend!

Things that I love about my apartment: The windows! - So big and bright I have a ton of plants and they love this. My last apartment was like a cave, and was bringing me and my plants down. There are a lot of big trees in the area too so even though where we are is urban, it doesn't feel that way. The size - Of my apartment and of the building. My apartment is huge and I have plenty of open space. The building is small - I don't feel overwhelmed by having a bunch of neighbors or seeing people I don't know. The building is small and feels very neighborhoody. The wine fridge - for obvious reasons. The location - There is such a variety of restaurants and things to do off of Lemmon and Oak Lawn. Being within walking distance of Eatzi's and Whole Foods has changed my life. The management - Sydney is super friendly and helpful. I just moved in about a month ago and she was very accommodating with helping me get set up. She met me at my apartment - and had a little move in gift waiting! Walked me through everything so I have felt very comfortable in my new apartment. So far, I've had a great experience. This is the first time I have lived some where that has been so attentive and personable, that's why I had to write a review and spread the word!
