Magnolia at West Lemmon

Toured with the staff here, and they were so friendly! The property manager came out and greeted me, and both girls were so warm and knowledgeable about the area. I’m still looking, but I wanted to appreciate them! They definitely stand out with their customer service alone. Highly recommend.

Everything about the management and apartment is good. Staff are very friendly. But some can be improved. You always need to have your phone to open any door or even gate. They should give residents fob or clicker, for gate especially. Another issue is that they have given towing contract to worst agency. Please be careful when moving here or having visitors, there are higher chances your car might get towed.

I've lived at Magnolia on Lemmon for around 21 months. I live in Building 3 (which in my opinion is the best). This is an honest review. Reasons I love living here: 1. Location. You are right outside of Highland Park which is the wealthiest neighborhood in Dallas. Its within a mile of Whole Foods. Its near Kroger, Target, etc. 2. Safety: As a woman, this is of upmost importance. I always feel safe walking in this neighborhood even when it gets dark. I don't even think I locked my door once the first year I lived here. I also went several months where I didn't even lock my car? Cars do not get broken into here. 3. Price: Where else can you get a studio in a great neighborhood/location for $1300/month?? 4. Management listens: I have environmental sensitivities and can't be around nasty chemicals. Because of this, they immediately got rid of all the Glade air fresheners on the first and 2nd floor just for me. 5. Its QUIET!! I RARELY hear my neighbors. And when I do its maybe once a week for 30 seconds?? 6. Juliet Balcony...I love that I have a sliding door with a screen that I can open at any time for fresh air. REASONS I DON'T LOVE LIVING HERE: 1. Horrible washing machine/dryer. I'm sure staff would argue with me...but this brand/model is known to be horrible with clothes. I've never put my nice clothes in them because they would beat them up and not clean them properly. I'm sad they don't have front loading washers that other newer properties have. 2. My studio is not very cute and it kinda makes me depressed to live here. The cheap price makes up for it though. **When I chose Magnolia as my new home in the Summer of 2024, it was a quick decision that had to be made in 3 weeks. If I had to choose all over again, I would choose Bowen on Henderson (formerly Easton).

I’ve been living at Magnolia West Lemon for a few months now, and honestly, my experience has only gotten better since move-in. The property is consistently clean, well-kept, and always smells fresh, which really sets the tone when you come home. D.J. and the entire leasing staff are truly phenomenal, professional, responsive, and most importantly, empathetic. They genuinely care about residents and it shows in how they communicate and support you. Chad is also top-notch with maintenance quick, thorough, and reliable every time. Overall, the entire Magnolia team creates an environment that feels welcoming and well-managed. The level of care and attention here makes a real difference, and I would absolutely recommend living here without hesitation. Great location, vibe, and overall experience living at Magnolia!
